Exact replacement for the one I bent (being dumb)

Replacement fit correctly, and functions well. I had difficulty with a couple of the self tapping screws that I tried to use from the original. Apparently the steel was harder than the threads in the self tappers so had to pull out my tap and die set to get it done.

OEM Replacement.

I really botched up my steps when I dropped the front wheels of my 40' RV into a rut driving across a pasture. The steps were extended at the time and the step was wrenched out of shape when I backed out of the rut. Lesson learned? No more 4 wheeling in the rig. 4 bolts hold the step unit to the chassis. Mark the 3 wires controlling the steps. I used white tape on one and duct tape on the other and the green ground wire was obvious. I sat on the floor watching tv while I removed the old motor and controller from the old step frame and attached them to the new. Reverse order to install and Since the step worked before, I got a brand new functioning step platform at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole unit.

Perfect for the price

Perfect for the price, had to replace our automatic step on our RV after a renter did not retract it before travel. Too the motor off the original and added to this replacement. All the holes were pre-drilled. Just had to tighten the bolts.

Make sure you are ordering correct model stairs.

Product arrived fast. Do your homework and make sure you are purchasing the correct model for replacement. Changed the motor and replaced in about 2 hours. When reinstalling I used a bottle jack. I placed the steps on the jack, slid it in place and raised the jack to put the stairs in the correct position and tightened the bolts. Look great. Real quiet.

Incomplete unit.

Item bullets imply that the unit is complete with electronics otherwise it could not function. Picture is made from an angle that electronics are hidden from view. Very clever!

it worked perfect i installed in about two hours every thing fitted perfect happy custermer
