Easy peasy

The hinges on my kitchen cabinets are at least 15 years old. One broke, so I bought this hinge as a replacement. Sometimes when you buy a replacement part for a really old product, the specs have changes and the new one doesn't quite fit. That's not the case here. The new hinge is identical to the old hinge, and the repair was very easy.

Pretty and smooth.

These were perfect for my floating, hidden gun safe project. The motion is smooth and it’s also esthetically a pretty hinge. I had bought some from a local big box store and returned those after I received these. Not only were these less expensive, they worked so much smoother. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants a high end look and feel in their project.

Excellent direct-fit replacement for IKEA Besta hinges

Fits IKEA

Fits IKEA Besta perfectly just like there older cheaper design which I actually prefer to there newer design as the newer design isn't as adjustable.

Works great. Need a 1-3/8 drill to counter sink the base. Provides templates so you know where to drill the holes.

Measurements were right on!!

Looked all over and online for hinge that worked on kitchen cabinet.my old one was made in Austria. Took a chance and ordered this after running out of options. Perfect Fit!!! didn't even have to drill new holes,Thank You.

I bought ten of these to replace 30-year old hinges that were starting to annoy me because they kept slipping and falling apart. My intention was to get my handy man to install them because it looked difficult. He procrastinated so I started to do it myself. The biggest hurdle was removing the screws from the existing hinges. I thought they were stripped but it turned out they were Robertson screws and I was using the wrong screw driver. After three trips to different hardware stores I finally got what I needed, a drive bit ($1.50) from a very helpful lady at Lee Valley. I returned the 8 screwdrivers and numerous drive and drill bits back to the hardware stores. I think this is a Canadian problem since Robertson screws are not widely used in the states. Once that issue was resolved, the existing hinges came off easily and I was able to use the same holes for the new hinges rather than having to fill and drill new ones. I didn't use the screws that came with the hinges instead choosing to use the Robertson screws as, apparently, they are much sturdier. I initially did the four doors that bothered me the most so had to come up with another 2 hinges, which I bought locally. They were Blum and cost at least 3 times as much as these. There was no difference in how they installed and how they worked. I placed a second order and will use these as my old hinges fail. I am so very satisfied with these hinges and highly recommend them. If you feel this type of project is out of your range, think again.

perfect fit and high quality

Mine ahd been broken for awhile. This one fit perfectly and has a spring load to slow the close and prevent slamming. Perfect for an angry wife. Good price too. I looked at the same ones for double this stores price.

never know what you're going to get - none of these match the item photo

I ordered this once shipped and sold by Amazon and another time shipped and sold by "just vertical". I've attached a photo, the one from Amazon is on the top and the one from Just Vertical is on the bottom. Neither of them matched the photo shown, and they are physically and functionally different from each other as well. The version from Amazon differs from the item photo in that there is no raised bump around the middle adjustment screw, and the door side pocket contains a stamped 'LIBERTY (tm)' in the metal while the photo shows none. The version from Amazon came in a plastic packet and included screws. Functionally the version from Amazon is a non-soft close hinge which is basically what I wanted and expected. The version from Just Vertical does have a raised bump around the adjustment screw, does not have the stamped LIBERTY marking, did not come with screws (was just loose not in Liberty packaging), and importantly is a soft-close hinge (see tail end to the left) which is not what I expected. It's not possible for me to tell if either item is genuine or whether there is just a problem with Amazon's photo on the item page.

Not an exact match for IKEA kitchen cabinets

We bought these as a replacement to the Ikea cabinet hinges as another reviewer suggested they were a match. While they fit the cut outs/screw hole locations, we had to plug the existing holes in the ikea cabinet door with dowels in order to screw the hinge in place. Otherwise it does the trick.
