Okay, Leg Ave Women's is generally a large sized product line... all the reviews I read said they fit the socks fit thick legs great... uhhh LIES! I received these very quickly, excitedly put them on, but they were tight, they rolled over if I pulled them up all the way, and the knee placement was too low for how long my legs are. I am 5'8" wear womens size 8.5 shoes and I do have thick athletic calves (like calves men say, wow- your calf muscles are bigger than mine). The sock material didn't seem to have enough elasticity in it, very little give (like i think threads would break instead of stretch out with wear). I can still wear them, just not pull them up much beyond my knee. I am also heavy, so my thighs are fatter than my lower legs, and when I did pull them up that high the stockings first made my fat squish out and looked obviously tight and one started to roll down. I think you can risk trying them out, but I wouldn't say they are necessarily built for plus sizes. PS: I wear knee highs all the time without any type of problem or slouch. I never wear above the knee successfully, they just wont stay up there.

Decent, but effective.

I love leg avenue products, especially their costumes. Mainly because they make costumes for the large busted women (DD here). This was the first time I had bought accessories from them. They look exactly like the photo. Fake looking but what do you expect for cheap halloween products. It is a one size fits all and being 5'2" I can see some potential problems for certain people. These things went as high as mid thigh but I can see that as a possible problem for someone with long legs. I also had a problem with them staying up. I had to pull them up several times throughout the night and I can tell if you have large legs that would be a problem for you.

Not what I was expecting.

I was super excited for these socks.... When I go them in the mail I put them on right away, CONS: *I realized that the lines of the bones were choppy, like it goes up 3 inches then the stitching moves over a 1/4 inch. It does this 4 times up the leg of the sock. I can kind of see it in the picture but I thought it was my computer being glitchy... Kind of disappointed in that aspect. *They were too tight I thought they'd be fine at first but then they were cutting off my circulation and only went over my knee if I pulled them to the point where they were stretched to the max. I'm really heavy either, 5'6'' and where the socks naturally landed (right below my knee) is 13.5'' around. (hopefully that helps) PROS: *These socks are made of good, thick material and they seem to be super warm. So if you have slender legs and don't mind the stitching being a little off, I would suggest them.

Caution. Rolls down.

I’m 5’10 and while they do roll down they at least remained opaque when pulled over my knee. Only just barely though. My inseam is 34 so these just barely went over the knee

Awesome & Fit Great

These socks fit great, i have wide calves and their not tight at all, they fit comfortably, and reach over the knee. They're a one size fits all. Their nice stretchy cotton material with some acrylic. So they are quite warm, i would wear them on a chilly day. i would recommend line drying them because acrylic is known to shrink in the dryer. Their good quality for the price i paid, i'm impressed on the good quality for something that it supposedly a costume product. When in doubt, go with leg avenue on foot wear accessories. I may just buy a second pair :D

i know they're brand new in plastic but i still think they're a bit tight so thick legs aren't really good for these socks. they fit a bit tight once they go over my knees but i personally don't mind it :9 i like tight aside from that and the understandable "one size" that they are, it's just something to get used to overall and i'm still gonna keep them :)

after reading all the reviews of 2 lefts or 2 rights i ordered multiples so i did not run into a time issue with exchanges or mishaps. all 4 were correct pairs. they fit me fine~ comfort & anatomically~ at 5'3" 114# average size legs, 6.5 shoe. they do look a little funny with the "breaks" in the bones but they are actually fairly soft & comfortable socks. i only kept 1 pair though as i will only likely use for costumes. i would buy more if i end up wearing them more often.

They're ok, but a little short

These are a little too short for my legs (I am 5'6") and they hit right below the knee. They're also a little thin, especially when they are on and stretched out, but nothing too terrible.

Ok product

Used it as part of my nurse costume, it was ok - the blood looked really fake and it kept rolling down so I had to continuously pull it up throughout the night.

I'm a man who wears these all over the place and I love them to bits. It'll go well with my Sans outfit that I'll need to find white slippers for somewhere at a good price.
