Nice shorts for a modest appearance, but watch the pricing

These don't stretch quite as much as I'd hoped, based on 2% spandex and my recent experience w/another style. But I wanted some shorts that are longer than 6" inseam, and I trust the Lee brand overall. But these don't have extra elastic in the waist as the other style (if you want to see what I'm talking about, check my order history). Still, they are good looking shorts w/enough length that I feel much more comfortable for the rare times now that I'm in public. I have another pair in a different color. At the time I ordered both, the prices were very good on both -- I'm not inclined to spend $30-40 for shorts. This ecru pair was $9 but now, the price is close to $30 in my size! The pinkish pair due in 2 days was $18, now it's also bumping up to more than $30. So either Amazon or Lee would punish me for liking the product and maybe considering another pair just like what I bought (I've done this on many clothing items over the years). This obvious price manipulation is shameful. I've seen it before, but never to this extent.

Go with getting your size and don't go up a size

Ordered pink sand and chose wrong size but washed them before finding out because they seemed to fit good enough when just trying on but they get loose after a few hours of wear and I should have gotten a 10 instead if a 12, dont know what I was thinking!!! I weigh in the arena of 157 to 163 and am 5'7 I ordered a different pair of short same brand but size 10 and they were perfect. Next time I order a pair of these I'm going with 10! I still wear the 12's but not going anywhere, only around home and yard work because they start to bag after few hours and it's just a very unattractive look to me. Other than that the shorts are great, feel great and soft on the skin, just need to get correct size.

Excellent price, good Lee brand quality

I had purchased a pair of these Lee brand shorts (Liberty Blue), size 10 Medium at a department store and paid $30 for it with sale price. I weight 140, 5'4" and with the slight stretch in the waist, they fit very well and I wanted another pair but the department store web site did not have these so I checked Amazon. These were on sale on Amazon site for $15.50 I think. I checked the material content and it was identical to the pair I bought (69% cotton, 30%polyester and 1% spandex) plus the label info was identical. I bought the Liberty Blue which looks like denim. I looked at some of the other colors and they had 2% spandex in I think so the colored ones may not have the same fit as the Liberty Blue pair. I was totally satisfied as these were identical, down to the labels.

These shorts fit and feel great. Very light-weight for travel. They're just noisy when you walk, but I still like them.

Fit beautifully

Ordered 16 seem to be made small I usually take 14 but I like them loose a bit for biking. Absolutely beautiful shorts soft light weight material. Will order more of them

Buena calidad

Es un short cómodo, dependiendo del color son diferentes tipos de tela. Para mí el más cómodo es el de tela de mezclilla. No es ajustado y describiría el modelo como de cintura media, no de cadera ni más arriba del ombligo.
