The cafe was easier to build than this!
Very adorable and I wouldn’t change it out for anything else, but the assembly was frustrating! We had to find different screws to use for the handle! They refused to tighten and we were starting to strip them! We had a small issue with one of the wheels, but it’s all done and it’s ridiculously cute.

Beautiful, but not functional
I'm honestly a bit surprised by all these 4 and 5 star reviews. The cart is beautiful, however it doesn't really work for it's main purpose - being pushed around by a kid. This is because of the design of the wheels. The wheels are attached with machine screws to the axle, with no bearings of any kind between the wheel and the screw. If you tighten these screws down all the way the wheels won't turn (and the cart becomes very hard to push/maneuver). If you leave the screws loose the wheels will turn, but after 10 minutes or so of being pushed around the motion of the wheels will unscrew the screws on the left side of the cart completely and they'll fall off. We unfortunately didn't realize this until after my daughter had fallen in love with the cart, so instead of returning it I've attempted to fix the problem with superglue - I took the wheels off (one side at a time), filled the hole in the dowel with superglue, and then re-attached the wheels, leaving the screws loose enough to allow the wheels to spin. After letting the superglue dry it appears to be working fine, though I don't know how long it will last. If/when it falls off I'll probably try again with a stronger epoxy. Another complaint - as a few other reviewers mentioned the pre-drilled holes in the handlebar don't quite fit the full length of the screws. I used a 9/64 drill bit (tried 1/8 first but it wasn't enough) to widen and deepen the holes a bit and that did the trick. At the end of the day my daughter has a functional, beautiful play grocery cart, however it required a bunch of work and modifications on my end to make that happen. Until the company fixes these issues I would recommend any other parent look elsewhere.

Cute BUT noisy
This shopping cart is very cute , but very loud when it’s being rolled around. It’s very squeaky. The only issue we had with assembly was with the handle bar ,the treading for the screws were off or not predriled all the way. So our screws were sticking out in the sides . And the instructions are adamant about only using manual tools .

Well Loved In Our Home
My kids (ages 1-5) love this shopping cart. It was a gift for my daughter’s first birthday. It gets daily use in our house. The cart itself is beautiful and well made. Assembly was easy and quick. My only complaint is the rubber strip on the wheels comes off when my kids try to turn the cart. The wheels do not turn so the cart must be moved in the direction they want to push it, which is hard for my 1 year old. My older kids skid the cart to turn it which can sometimes cause the rubber strip at the bottom of the wheels to fall off or get trapped in the inside of the wheel. With time, my kids have gotten used to not skidding it, so the rubber pieces don’t come off all that often. Minus that issue, it’s wonderful. It is a little pricey but I love wooden based toys and was willing to pay more for it.

Love it!!
Very well made and so cute!! I can’t wait to give it to my granddaughter for her birthday! It took me about an hour and a half to put together. I bought a cheaper version of an ice cream cart that fell apart in a week. This one is much stronger and I know it last a long time! I would highly recommended it!

This toy will be a plaything for years
This little grocery cart was purchased to encourage my 14-mo old granddaughter to walk. It provided confidence for her to get up on her feet. Now that she's a walking pro, she loves loading it up to take her toys for a walk. It seemed a little expensive, but given the quality and the fact that it's not plastic, I would happily spend the money again.

Christmas winner
This product exceeded all my expectations, packaging was amazing each individual piece was wrapped in paper to protect against scratching, the assembly was nice and easy (I did have an electric drill). very happy with this purchase, and so was my son.

Overall a well made attractive toy
A bit complicated to assemble and took about three hours. Once completed it looked attractive and appeared quite sturdy. It was greatly enjoyed by three year old grandson. Extra ice creams and lolly’s need to be purchased.
