The black one Blows air.. but hums.. bought
I liked the functionality of this fan, but the audible hum at around 250 Hz was too annoying for me. See picture of audio spectrum of fan while running. I returned it for an exchange. The second unit had the same a/c motor hum. I returned it and bought the more expensive yellow one, pictured in my revue, from Tractor Supply. ???? just air noise with no a/c hum … they are both the same manufacturer. But much different quality. My new yellow one is also more solid feeling than the flimsier, black Amazon one.

Best fan I've ever had
I had the older model and it ran on high for 8 years straight almost never being turned off. It finally died and I got this newer model. So far it's working just the same. I'll continue to buy this product for the rest of my life as long as the quality stays the same. I love it. Highly recommend.

I am blown away by the Lasko High Velocity Pro-Performance Pivoting Utility Fan! This fan is a powerhouse, creating a strong and consistent breeze that'll keep you cool even on the sweatiest and hottest of days. The pivoting feature allows me to direct the air flow exactly where I need it, making it perfect for both personal use and larger spaces. While we wish it could oscillate on its own, this fan is not designed for that and still packs a powerful punch- it's just so perfect I wish we could take this design and combine it with a self oscillating one. Even though it's small, you won't believe how strong the wind is at all three power levels. Plus, with the ability to rotate in any direction with just a little push, this fan is perfect for gyms, homes or anywhere you need a quick cool down. I highly recommend this fan to anyone in need of a reliable and effective cooling solution!

The best fan!
We use this fan on our bedroom at night. It runs for 8 to 10 hours everyday. Best fan we have ever used. After about 2 years they drum inside warped and started rubbing slowing down the fan, making lots of noise. I contacted the company to see how I could get this fixed and they sent me a new one very quickly. I would recommend the fan for any use and would say this was the best customer service I have ever received.

works great for the garage in the winter.
i bought this because of its smaller size and the ability to move high air volume. it sits on my shelf in the corner of my garage to dry my floor when i park the car after a snow or rain. it dries the floor pretty quickly compared to a normal box fan and i like that it is able to point down or up directions. when not drying the floor i have it pointing up moving the cooler air up so it keeps the garage more evenly heated. over all very happy with it so far. cant say much for longevity yet but so far so good and working great.

Best home fan
I live in a hot and humid area and this is by far the best home fan I’ve ever had. The directable airflow is easy and my favorite part it how quiet it is. You can turn it all the way up and have very high airflow, and it will still be quiet compared to most fans. We gave away all of our other fans after buying this one. Perfect size also, very small and packs a punch.

For indoor cycling
Using this for indoor cycling. This is the fan to buy, unreal how much air it moves while being so quiet. The other things I like about it are the adjustability, narrow stream of air it throws, and size takes up less floor space than your typical floor fan).

Great for Zwifting indoor bike riding on a smart trainer
Its a good powerful fan, I use it on level 2 out of 3 even then you have to watch your towel as it blows off your bike. Great adjustment increments . A product that does its job

Pretty powerful
I use it for the bike trainer. It is quite powerful. I use it in the lowest setting (1/3) and never had to turn it higher. I actually had to move it further back. It’s great that the fan can be adjusted up or down. Probably the only thing that would make it great for a bike trainer is a remote, but it’s very good as it is.

Indoor cycling workout fan
I use it as an indoor cycling workout fan. It works very well for that purpose. It provides a lot of airflow and the angle adjustment makes it easy to adjust the direction of the airflow.
