It's these or nothing
Look no more! Built like a tank and easy to use this sink strainer by Lasco is top of the line with a bargain bin price tag. I've tried other cuter or fancier strainers but no others can compare to this one. The white color blends with my porcelain kitchen sink perfectly, it's almost invisible. It keeps things that don't belong in my disposal out of it and when it's full just flip and rinse. No shaking it trying to get the crap out of it. My previous one disappeared and after trying others my daughter found these for me on Amazon. It was like the heavens opened up and the angels sang Hallelujah! I did at least.

Little, but GREAT
You may be thinking that $8.00 is a lot to spend on a small plastic disk with holes in it. BUT, if you have ever inadvertently (say after a big dinner party with much wine and fun, and it is very late) dropped a spoon into your sink drain and then turned on the disposal, you would be thrilled to know that this little 'silver saver' is available and at about a fifth of the price of replacing the spoon. I have used these discs for YEARS, and my Mother was the one who ruined a spoon, and yes, it was sterling. In fact, I have three of these Lasco discs: one always in the sink drain, one to use as a spare while the first is in the dishwasher, and one to give to any guest who says, "WOW, what a clever idea. Where can I buy one of those?"

Found my perfect sink strainer!
I had looked everywhere including Amazon for two years as my old one eventually got stained from coffee, etc. This is exactly the one I needed. Metal ones are too big--this one is very easy to clean to get things in the disposal, and it goes in the dishwasher, so it will not get stained like the old one did!
