Great door knobs, that you should never have to replace.

Great door knob, I just purchased this one to finish my door knob replacement project ( I was short 1 door knob do to stock issues everywhere. Easy to install, very easy to rekey, and holds up in the rain unlike other... brinks..., this lock is also compatible with August if you ever decide to upgrade. So for those people that say it is difficult to line up the screws, takes forever to install, or that you need 2 people or 3 arms to install, hire someone, this is to easiest lock to install, ever. I did this by myself (a two arm human) and it took 10 minutes, and that included rekeying and actually removing the dead bolt and handle to readjust to appease my OCD and make the key holes perfectly 0 degrees virtual. If I had not cared about it being perfect it would have been 5 minutes.

Kwikset door lock combo

Kwikset is a very trusted brand. And this door lock set is good. If you looking for something that's pick proof, it's not for you. This set is not the most heavy duty set but it work well for most any situation. It s good for lock set combo, us you can re key it anytime.

Great purchase

I wanted to replace our old lock sets with smart lock sets and I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading some of the reviews. They were easy to install and easy to re-key. The bottom door knob key does insert opposite from top lock. Key down for dead bolt/key up for door knob. That isn't a issue for me. I was able to purchase for 50% less than local big box store for the same item. Very pleased.

Excellent solution for rekeying

Locksmiths around here charge $25 just to rekey a lock. Kwikset has delivered a great solution for rekeying your locks for only the price of the door hardware itself. No more locksmiths needed. Very cool.

GREAT VALUE!!

We replaced a deadbolt and doorknob set when our tenants moved out. You can't beat the price of this set. It may not be the quality of one of the quality-name brands, but it does the job just fine. We installed it ourselves - takes some time. Then, I paid $10 to get keys made for another door. Afterwards, I realized I should have just bought this set - only a little more to get a brand new lock - with four keys.

Not hard to install. Good value. Modest security upgrade.

This is an upgrade to an older standard Kwikset combo. It is a marginal security upgrade as the SmartKey system is somewhat harder to pick and incorporates drill protection. The fact that it can be rekeyed by the owner is an added benefit.

Easy to install & re key

I bought a couple sets & had no problems installing them. I installed the deadbolts upside down & everything works great. My old deadbolts were this way & I didn't want to change things after 30 years. The SmartKey feature was easy to use & I matched them to a couple other SmartKey Entry knobs I bought a few months ago. I sprayed a good lubricant on all the components before I installed them & put a small bead of sealant on the outside mounting areas of the locks. Good product at a fair price. I'll be buying only SmartKey locks from now on.

Missing items including the keys.

I ordered a combo pack of one Entry Knob and one dead bolt lock. Dispatch was delayed. Item ordered was antique brass. I recieved only the dead bolt with keys missing in polished brass finish. Returned the item for full refund. Never ever buy from the seller "Lock Decor".
