Great but Beware the large is only about the size of a tennis ball
Being a bit older with a bad back I was looking for a bigger ball that I could just kick and not have to keep bending over to pick it up and toss it. If you are looking for a ball to toss, then this one is probably perfect for you. However, if you rather have a sturdy light weight bigger ball that goes far when you put little effort into kicking it then I highly suggest you look into getting a "JW Hol-ee Roller Dog Fetch Treat Dispenser Puzzle Ball" which is great and I am currently buying a couple more.

My dogs love them
I have been using Chuck It's green Erratic ball, which is not perfectly round, and so its direction is unpredictable. My Pugs really enjoy it. I introduced this ball and they like it as well. I could tell immediately that they can breathe right through it, so even if somehow it does get stuck in their throat, it won't prevent them from breathing. It's lightweight, hopefully it will stand up to chewing. It's also a bit smaller than the erratic, so you might consider ordering one size up. Update: They like this one more and it is more flexible, but hasn't broken. They can breathe well while running and holding it in their mouths. Ordering more.

Not as Good as the Chuckit! Whistler Ball
I like the concept - the weave pattern with open areas for air flow help the dog to breathe easier during retrieving exercises. And that could help keep the dog a little cooler in hot weather. In theory, a ball stuck in a dog's throat could allow the dog to breathe until the ball can be removed. But this is not meant to be a chew toy, and like most balls, it will not hold up if used as one. It is flexible, so a dog that chomps at the ball a few times on the way back from retrieving it will probably not hurt it....at least my soft-mouthed Lab has not hurt hers. The real problem with this ball is that it is so light that it is difficult to get any distance on the throw. About the best I can do is maybe 2/3 of the distance I get on the whistler balls - and it takes a lot of effort to get it to go that far. Forget throwing it into the wind! Although the ball does bounce, the bounce is not near as "good "as the whistler balls, either; so I prefer the whistler balls. On warmer days I will continue to use these under our shade trees, throwing the balls manually instead of using the launcher. Distance is not important on those days, and my girl can still get a good workout doing shorter sprints. I generally like Chuckit! products, but this one fell a little short (pun intended).

Breathable! For ball hogs!
Balls, balls, balls! That’s all my dog go thinks about! This one we like because he usually won’t give it back for the walk home! He can breathe with this one in his mouth!

Love these balls! Can’t have enough of them!
Bought them for our dog and our grandson! I put little dog bones in them, keeps our puppy busy for a while. My grandson and I play dodgeball with them! It’s one of his favorite games! They’re so squishy soft they don’t hurt Love these balls! Can’t have enough of them!

Seems super sturdy.
Dog and owner approved. Seems super sturdy. Love the holes that allow puppers to heave and breath while playing fetch. Plus it doubles as a treat ball so win win.

Durable ball
This ball has been great for our destructive dog. We have had it for two months now and the ball is our dogs favorite toy. The dog chews on it, mauls it and submerges it in water. So far, it has held up well.

We have a “soft” Frenchie that can chew through these easily.
At first, she would just squeeze it in her mouth. As soon as she found that she can tear it apart, it was no longer going to live it’s plastic life’s extent. We still buy them though lol

Great ball but not suitable for chewers!
My cocker spaniel is ball mad. He loved the traditional solid Chuckit balls however I came across a video shared by a veterinary practice of them saving the life of a dog who had a solid ball lodged in its throat. The video was pretty disturbing and although the dog made it, it was touch and go. So I decided to look for a ball that if it were to get stuck down my dogs throat he could still breathe. Having introduced him to these balls he now no longer is interested in any other ball - he loves them!. It allows him to breathe as he runs, they reduce the ingestion of sand and sea water at the beach. It's soft on his teeth when he catches it and it's light. Works well in a ball thrower and it floats. All great - however they don't last long and they are expensive. The last couple of balls I purchased lasted a couple of months and then started to break so not great for the environment and I wouldn't leave a chewer alone with this ball... Hope this helps!

Basically invisible.
All round not bad. The dogs love chasing them, and they can breathe a lot better than with their usual balls. The main reason I havent given this 5 stars is the colour. Dogs are red green colour blind, so whilst it looks brght and easy to spot for us, the attached image is what a dog sees. The number of times my dogs have basically been stood on top of one of these yet been unable to find them does not bode well for their longevity. As a company that manufactures toys for dogs surely they should know this sort of thing? The other very minor point is that the balls are super light so easily taken by the wind and difficult to toss more than a dozen meters or so.

Buy this ball if you want your dog to have orange poo
The toy looked great and my Jack Russel loved it for about 10 minutes on Christmas day morning. I thought I would see how it was faring not long after giving it to him and had to take it off him straight away as there was only half of it left. I found the rest of it over the following days mixed in with his poo.

Treat dispenser
Really great item . This is the second one i have, original still going strong but reserve needed( incase i leave it elsewhere) . Use it to fill with gravy bones as a treat ball , when leaving her. Had it 8 months???? fill it every morning on leaving house and it has yet to fail. Not what it was advertised as but works just as well as treat ball ????

When this ball arrived, I nearly threw it straight in the bin. It felt very flimsy, was smaller than I thought it would be, and I thought it was a waste of money. My dog can destroy the sturdiest of balls in a matter of minutes, so I thought it might be best just to throw this away rather than give it to her on Christmas Day and then see her disappointed face as I wrestle the bits away from her which she will never see again. Fortunately, I decided to let her have her 2 minutes of fun with it and she got it Christmas morning, and despite getting other toys this was by far her favourite. I was very surprised to see it still in one piece after half an hour of chewing. After 3 days of trying to destroy it, the dog gave up with that and started playing with it instead. Now, 2 months later, the ball is still intact and is still chewed/played with on a daily basis. I will definitely be getting another one.
