Sharpened to a Razor Edge - This will hurt you badly if you are not expecting that.

First time I washed this thing it opened my knuckle up like a filleted fish. This is the first biscuit cutter I've ever seen that had the cutting edge sharpened to a razor's edge. Washers beware!

Outstanding works great

Works great I had no problem it was just what I ordered. I had been looking for this for awhile and was so excited to find it. I made biscuits with it this weekend the donut hole part came out easy and the handle was great to hold on to. I have read other reviews where they said the handle broke off which I guess if you put all the pressure on it than it might. but the way it is designed you hold the handle and put the pressure on the cutter part which works wonderful. I am thinking about buying another one in case something happens to this one. I do wish it was a little bigger but I am totally happy with this one.

Makes Nice Round Donuts and Donut Holes

I made donuts for the first time using the cutter. The product worked well except that I sometimes had difficulty removing the cut dough from the cutter.

Not Worth the Money

The item looks sturdier than it is. The handle snapped off after using it one time. The center cutter is not in line with the outer cutter and does not cut through dough without extra effort. We ended up having to use it without the center piece attached and used the smaller cutter alone - so not efficient to cut donuts in one motion. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

Exactly what we needed for old-fashioned donuts

This is like the one my Mom had when I was a kid. I looked everywhere (what was I thinking!) in stores and couldn't find anything! I found this quickly on Amazon and it was exactly what we needed. I ordered one for me and one for my Mom and she was making donuts the next day. We love the way the middle comes out - very stable and easy to use (when in place). We dip in flour so it doesn't stick to the dough.

Hard to use with no handle!

Bought this to make bagels

I bought these to cheat when making bagels. I'm dumb. Who want's a donut sized bagel! Makes a mean donut thou.

No Handle

I ordered the Norpro 3494 Donut Biscuit Cutter (with removable center) so that I could make biscuits and doughnuts; I can make'em all right, but I will have to do it without a handle on my product. The packaging was OK (it came with few other items I had ordered), but the handle was missing and was nowhere to be found in the box.Guess I'll use the thing as is til I can get another product somewhere else. It wouldn't be worth it to send the thing back!
