Great tape measure

I really like this little tape measure. It’s nice and bright so it’s easy to see. It has both metric and standard which is really nice for switching back and forth. And, it’s printed on both sides which makes it easier to see from debris angles. It’s made in S. Korea and is a nice quality tool.

BEST ONE I EVER HAD.

MEASURES ARE PRINTED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TAPE, METRIC A ND STANDARD. IT'S EASY TO READ AND THE ONE FEATURE I REALLY LIKE ON THIS TAPE IS IT STAYS EXTENDED UNTIL YOU PRESS THE RELEASE BUTTON. I THINK YOU WILL LIKE IT TOO. SO I RECOMMEND IT TO YOU.

Easy to work with

This is the perfect size for around the house. The form factor is really nice the locking feature works great. I haven't had any trouble reading it, and the tape paint has not scuffed or peeled.

Double sided printing?

What's the point of double sided printing if its the exact same? The reason you print on the other side is for then you need inches on the left and metric on the right and vice versa.

Autolock is a game changer

Simply the best tape measure I've ever owned. It's super easy to read and the back has the numbers set up for vertical reading. Then there's the self lock an idea so good I can't see myself using a tape measure without it.

Fonction auto-verrouillage formidable !..

The media could not be loaded. La fonction auto-blocage (self lock) est formidable. L'usage de l'outil est facilité par ce mécanisme. Les mesures en pouces et en centimètres sont faciles à lire des deux côtés du ruban. Le fait que d'un d'un côté, la lecture se fait dans le sens horizontal (de gauche à droite) et de l'autre, dans le sens vertical (de haut en bas) est une autre caractéristique intéressante et digne de mention. Restera à voir avec le temps l'endurance du mécanisme et la durée du fonctionnement de l'outil dans l'ensemble. Mais il semble bien construit et très solide. Je suis heureux de m'être procuré ce mètre-ruban.

If they keep making it I'm loyal for life

This is the one I didn't know I wanted. I've dated carpenters and didn't even know measuring tapes could be this good. The size is perfect for my small hands. The weight is fine if I want to bring it to a shop or carry it around the house while I'm doing a project. The numbers are clear and as a Canadian it's great to have both metric and imperial. I'm so glad I treated myself to this.

The locking mechanism is second to none

I have owned a lot of tape measures, and it is difficult to find what best suits your needs until you buy it and try it. I needed a tape measure with metric units on it, read the reviews here and was not disappointed when it arrived. I think by far the best part of this tape measure is the tape locking mechanism that feels like a carbon-ceramic brake on a race car. I hope it keeps that way and that every manufacturer takes notice.

Best tape measure with self lock on the market

Best tape measure with self lock on the market. I have read reviews with complaints that the locking mechanism doesn't hold. I have owned and operated tape measures every day for just over 15 years. Even traditional tape measure lock mechanisms will lose their hold over time and repeated use. If you extend a self lock tape to any length and press the button to retract it and then release the button while the tape is retracting at full speed it will prematurely break the "hold" of the self locking mechanism. Its best to use your free hand when retracting the tape to slow the speed if not stop it completely before releasing the button. These are excellent tape measures. The belt clip is heavy duty. The only thing I would say is needed is a magnet on the hook.

Smooth

The satisfaction when retracting the ruler with a single press of the button is uncomparable. The ruler glides back like nobody's business. Slight thicker material makes you less worry about getting your finger cut open. AND metric rules, period.
