Gentlemen, when the hole on your toilet seat isn't big enough...
... you go and buy an open front toilet seat! I just moved to a new apartment and they had a round Kohler toilet bowl with a seat that has 8" wide by 9" long hole. Well, for guys, this isn't big enough. When you sit on it, either you tuck your package below the toilet seat and get castrated or you let it sit on top of the seat and enjoy the view of whatever is in front of you. Perhaps, for kids, this is good enough. For grown ups, it just won't do! For crying out loud, how can an apartment complex even think of using this tiny toilet bowl? It's just criminal! Anyway rant over. I was looking online for a round toilet seat that has a wider and longer opening. But I found out that they're all the same. Then, this magical item came into view and I thought that I found something that would fix my problem! I hastily ordered it and it was delivered today. I immediately installed it and sat on it. I am so happy and relieved that my boys can hang loose again.

Sturdiness and easy to clean
I have an adult son that has cerebral palsy. He goes through 2 to 3 seats a year because of the way he sits on the toilet seat loosens the screws and eventually breaks the seat. I bought this one because I'm running out of choices to try. Only had it for one month and it's holding up so far so not a good trial period yet to give it 5 stars for sturdiness. If it lasts one year, I'll be ecstatic.

Almost great
Decent toilet seat. Nice shape and quality for the most part. It did come with a couple tiny black scratch-like marks that wouldn't come off though. But there's no rough edges except for one tiny spot on the back hinge.

Easy to clean hinges!
I clean at a hospital and loved how these hinges are easier to clean around and no extra lid to clean. So, I bought for our home toilets we never used lids so why have them to clean. Also the bolts are metal unlike alot of home grade toilet seats so they stay tighter longer.

Came right on time. It is a good price & easy to install. Needed for a private club bathroom . Certainly would recommend.

Almost perfect design, needed modification
It's a great toilet seat and I would recommend it provided you're okay with some modification. The bolts are raw metal and if you are unlucky/your toilet model has slightly larger openings for the bolts like mind the seat will rattle around when you sit down or get up and the metal rods will potentially damage/possibly even crack your toilet seat. The way to fix this? ...take like 2 whole rolls of that super thin white plumbers water proofing tape and wrap the bolts in it ...like REALLY wrap them up. I put like 50-70 layers on so that the bolts don't rattle but rather descend snugly into the larger holes like a rubber plug with a metal core. I think this is why a lot of universal toilet seats now come with plastic bolts rather than metal ones. Anyway my solution is working I just have to occasionally re-tighten the bolts when the nuts loosen of every 2-3 weeks or so.
