The part fit perfectly and the Amazon price was about $200 less than ordering from Kohler Directly.

This diverter valve replaced a diverter valve that had started to leak. This part I received was an original Kohler part. The delivery was a complete joke. Amazon shipped via Pitney Bowes. The tracking information provided claimed an attempt was made to deliver the part to my house a day before it cleared customs and entered Canada from the US. Everything was resolved by an excellent customer service agent from Amazon. However I still invested considerable time getting the issue settled. Net, a great product at a great price partially offset by incompetent shipping and questionable tracking information.

official Kohler replacement cartridge

This cartridge replaced a 20 year old cartridge that had been leaking badly. It was simple to unscrew and replace. It is pretty pricey but it works just as it should unlike the generic versions that are available. I lube the o-rings and threads with clear silicone grease for longevity and ease of removal if need be.

High quality, Exact replacement - worked perfectly

I did a lot of research on why my Kohler deck mounted diverter was leaking and found this model number in the exploded drawings. I wanted to buy a rebuild kit as I was pretty sure it was only the o-rings that were the problem, but when I took the old one out there was a lot of pitting and corrosion that was also a problem - so I'm really glad I got the entire assembly. This had been a problem for months and was so easy to replace it was fixed in minutes - I am going to buy another one as a spare when the price is lower. The price fluctuates more than 25% on this item, so watch the price if you can wait.

Problem solved

The hand held shower attachment to my Roman tub was leaking. Bought this part, installed it within 5 minutes, and now the leak has stopped. Saved a lot of $$ for a plumber.

Pricy but necessary

This little item costs $100. Could be because it's made entirely of brass. I have no choice but to get it to replace a leaking Kohler diverter part; nevertheless, once replaced, the leak stopped.

OEM replacement

OEM replacement for the diverter installed in a Jacuzzi tub. The thing is, this was in a house that was 3 years old and never sold. The original fitting even though never used still corroded enough to leak. All o-rings were replaced and it still leaked. So this replacement installed in a minute and no leak. Just disappointed how a solid brass valve like this has such a short life span.
