They worked, but.

They are pretty thin and hard. Time will tell how long they last. The screws are plain steel shatter metal screws and would not last in a marine environment so I replaced with stainless.

Identical to the light pole clips that came with my Stingray boat. I use these to hold the mooring cover poles. Tight fit but should relax once warmed up.

Updated 17Apr17: I like these better than I thought

For me, the jury is still out on these. I found I needed #8 x 1" stainless steel pan head screws. They did not come w/screws or for that matter any real directions or suggestions. It is very easy to screw the screw heads right through the hole and out the bottom. So be very careful not to over tighten these. As a safety measure, I put some 3M 5200 sealant in the screw holes and some between these rubber storage clips and the boat wall. I think I am going to have to be very careful with these clips when I remove and replace my shallow water anchor. Update: 17Apr17 - these have held my shallow water anchor to my port gunwale just fine. I believe the the 3M 5200 sealant really helped. On 25Mar17, I ordered a second set, which I mounted underneath my leaning post. I did so to mount my adjustable LED stern light, which saves me lots of room over storing my old rigid single piece stern light in my rod locker.

Did not come with screws

Works good for my light pole in my boat. But cane with no screws. I had to drive down to the store to buy screws. Kinda defeads the purpose of buying on line.

True rubber. Not hard plastic

So the pole light is held correctly and right in place. Easy to install but does NOT come with screws to install with.. good purchase

Poor performance on the water

Had to use 2 hands to pry back the clip tongue and roll my Power Pole anchor into place- very frustrating. After a morning of learning the technique to get my pole into the clips, one popped off over the mounting screw and into the water!

Absolutely unusable. Sized way too small!

No way on earth this fits a one inch application. You can see from my pics. It’s not even close and will not stretch to one inch at all even with lots of force. It was starting to deform as it barely wrapped into the steel piece in the pic which is exactly one inch. Useless.

Decent rubber clips

These rubber clips work well. They are easy to install with a single screw hole in the middle of each (recessed). They hold my 4" solid steel motor raise/lower bar easily and securely. The rubber is hard enough to hold well and soft enough to allow for ease of insertion/removal. Haven't had them long, so not sure about their durability, but I recommend them. I didn't give them 5 star because they don't come with mounting screws.

Antenna support

Used as antenna support. Works excellent. Keeps antenna from bouncing when trailering. Seems good quality
