you can't go wrong with Klien tools. This pair of pliers is awesome! very comfortable grips. they feel good, they cut well, they do their job well. Having the crimper on the pliers means you don't have to carry and extra tool around with you. its always there when you need to use it. why are you still reading this?!? go buy them already

Are all the other reviewers giants?
I am not a lineman, rather a handyman. I bought these pliers for home wiring and general use. The pliers certainly feel/look/act well made. The grips are comfortable, open/close is very smooth, the grip pattern on the jaws themselves is very secure, the cutting edge and the crimp tool (in very early use) both perform very well. In terms of appearance mine arrived with yellow/black pattern rather than the blue pattern pictured on Amazon - not a big deal for me. The main complaint I have is that at 9", most of the length is handle, meaning that one hand operation requires somebody (apparently) with giant-sized hands. I'm 6'2" with hands that are approximately in proportion to the rest of me, and am used to quite easily fully opening most pairs of pliers with one hand. With these I get maybe 50% open with one hand. Of course this yields better leverage if/when needed, but for most general use I have found them a bit long and unwieldy. I did not notice any other reviewer comment on the size before I ordered these, so must be everyone else who wrote a review has giant hands?

My Favorite Brand of Plier
I love Klein pliers. As a journeyman electrician I've been using various types of Klien pliers for 35 years. I've tried other brands but always come back to a version of these. The ergonomics work perfectly for me and I especially like the grip. The high leverage designs allows you to cut easily through thicker gauge conductors and the hi-vis yellow is great for finding them buried in the bottom of your tool bag.

Great tool; for large hands
This is my 2nd purchase of this item. My first was stolen. Otherwise I don’t think that I would have ever needed to buy this again. There is no better American pliers than Klein. Still Made in the USA! For the professions or homeowners who want the best. This heavy-duty pair of linesman pliers can do everything they are designed to do. The crimper is a great touch and makes this a duel tool. The grip is ergonomic and reduces chance of electrocution. (Non-insulated but still rubber.) However, for my smaller hand, the journeyman handle is a little too thick.

Hard and rough sounding when opening and closing
The handles give some with pressure not smooth opening and closing. For the money I expected more. I have had the regular yellow handle ones “keline” from Home Depot for the past two years through the ringer and still operate smoother.

Top notch pliers
These linesman have become my new favorite. The handles are perfect compared to the ones in home depot. Invest the extra $10 and you will appreciate it

Perfect fit for my hands
As a sparky we all know you can't without your pliers and for 20 years I've been being cheap and buying the classics. They always felt small in my hands but these chubby things are amazing, cheers Klein

Steel quality not what I expected.
Had them for two weeks, look like they're 10+ years old. Rusted despite not being exposed to moisture. We'll see how the replacement set holds up, so far unimpressed considering Klein's reputation. Grips are comfy but that's the only highlight for me. Should have bought knipex and saved the headache.

Strong Robust heavy
I like the blades and jaw capacity, the weighted head , is good for adjusting with a light tap . The grips though non vde are very well made .
