I can’t quite get the color to match. I first ordered Harvest Gold a few years ago and the fixture looked yellow. When I bought a yellow one the fixture looks to be Harvest Gold. Apparently it is hard to match a old fixtures color, but it is close enough. I don’t want to do a remodel at this time.

"Citron Yellow" Perfect color match for circa 1961 American Standard Toilet
I purchased this product in "citron yellow" to match the lemon yellow toilet installed when our house was build in 1961. Excellent choice for those looking to preserve orginal "mid-century modern" decor. The color match was perfect, and the product appears to be well-made. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars to reflect a couple very minor complaints: (1) the package comes with parts that are not shown or explained in the installation diagram and instructions. It comes with a choice of metal alignment inserts, which allow you to position the seat forward or backward half an inch or so. Of course, most people will be able to figure it out, but the part is not shown or mentioned on the assembly diagram. They give you 4 inserts, but you will use only two of them. (2) there was a minor defect in the painted finish, but it shows only in reflected light and is not noticeable in the location in which I have it installed. It is not something I would bother returning the unit for, but it is not a perfect finish. Overall it is an excellent value and I am happy with it. (On a side note, I am amused that Amazon.com sent me a recommendation email today suggesting that I might need a harvest gold seat as well! The recommendation engine provides such an endless stream of amusement for those of us who are easily amused.)

Make a 'smooth move' ---get this seat!
I know this review will sound a bit 'tongue in cheek'---but trust me, it is a sincere 'seat on cheek' review. This seat is AMAZING!. Besides the obvious benefits of the camouflaging yellow color....it is incredibly comfortable. Everything seems to 'go' better on this seat....it has done wonders for my intestinal health. I find myself extending my sitting time.....in fact I am typing my review on my laptop while sitting on it. My wife found the extra the time I was spending on the 'yellow throne' was disturbing....until she tried it herself. Now we fight over who should get to this bathroom. I am probably going to replace the one in her bathroom just to keep the peace. (Also very easy to install.) I could write more....but she is knocking on the door!

I purchased this seat for a friend who liked his old wooden toilet seat and wouldn't replace it even though it was broken. His sink and toilet are yellow, and the old toilet seat looked out of place. I decided to replace it for him. I found this seat on Amazon, and figured I'd get it and hope my friend liked the change in color. What a difference! The seat is made of wood, so it is sturdy, it was easy to install, and it perfectly matches his sink and toilet! He now has a "designer" bathroom and we are both pleased with the quality of the seat, and the new look of the bathroom.
