Good product but a little pricey

I've used these chambers for some time now and they definitely work. I've run the classic experiments where I sow seeds both in and out of these chambers and while most seeds do not germinate outside the ones inside this chamber almost always germinate. They are not the highest quality, or strong for that matter, but I have yet to have one break on me. Like with most things if you treat it right it will last you for a while. My main negative feedback is the price. You can get these same chambers from other vendors for almost half the price listed here. For example ZenHydro sells these for $18 each.

Purchased last month during black Friday sales, but only just started to use it. So far it's good. Pockets for seeds are the prefect size for the y-cubes that come with the gardyn system.

iPower Heating Seed Starter Germination Kit

It's cheap and it serves the purpose, acting as a portable greenhouse for germinating seeds, keeping them warm in a cooler indoor environment. The vent disk is a 30 mil thick, 4.75" diameter piece of black plastic that just lays on top of the depression in the clear lid. It arrived warped, would not lay flat, and would not stay flat. It's easily replaced using a piece of cardboard or craft material such as thin plastic or foam, trace the disk diameter and cutouts onto your craft material, and cut out using a hobby knife (X-Acto) or razor blade. I used a piece of 1/16" thick dense foam rubber with a knob glued on top center of the disk that I fabricated.

Tried for first time.

I bought this because it has a heater built-in. I really can't tell if the heat is on or not by touching it. Lol. But my seeds sprouted and that's all that matters I guess.

Fragile construction but effective if you can keep it safe.

Vent opening is very ineffective if you want to close the flow. Cheap chinese plastics used in construction. Heated base is not adjustable and cannot overcome any change in exterior conditions that are less than favorable. Cloning use is to be determined.

over all it works good but was dissapointed the insert trey dosnt fit proper it can slide around. If made correct size insert would be 5 star

The unit is pretty good, well designed base, but my only complaint is the dome, it's really cheap, i mean for $50, you would expect a harder more durable dome, but it's just a flimsy thin plastic dome. which is disappointing considering the price. overall it performs well so i kept it. but that dome is sooooooooo cheap.... buyer beware :)

The media could not be loaded. The vent wasn't in the middle and don't stay in place. Eventhough I've cut the middle a little bit, it helped, but it still won't stay in place. But for the rest I love it

Perfect height and size

Easy to use and re-use many times, perfect size for your average gardener. I'd say it's worth the price. The lid is sturdy and has lasted me for months with it expected to last for years.

For the price it is just junk. A one year investment if that. Would never buy it again! Over priced.
