Satisfied

These are old school poly prop. Been looking for these for a long time to replace a base layer I’ve had for about 10 years lol. Knew what I was getting and I am satisfied. Fit seems about right but is snug and they probably will shrink a lil in wash, esp if not washed correctly. Seem to be made well and will definitely keep me warm as a base layer on long runs this winter.

Not only for WInter Sports

This tight fitting 100% polypropylene base layer is my go-to top for open cockpit sailing year round. In the summer it is somewhat magical . if the sun is out it has a high spa and even tho' you would think it would be too hot to wear the evaporative properties of the shirt dry that sweat immediately and keep you comfortable . when the sun hides in the clouds and the wind picks up and you stop perspiring it starts keeping you warm - an excellent base layer when you grab your windbreaker. Toss in the washing machine and it dries sooooo fast you could wear it right from the spin cycle without needing the dryer. Great for travelling when you're doing laundry in the hotel sink every other day. Love it.

Could be better

Looked like a good deal, bought four. Not happy with the "plastic"(?) on the inside of the shoulder seams in the stitching, uncomfortable on the skin. The stitching on the hem around the bottom is coming unraveled after about 3 washings. Also the sleeve lengths seem to vary a bit shirt to shirt for some reason. They do wick sweat away from the body like they should.

You have to be kidding

I’ve worn polypropylene base garments for years because done well they are the warmest, base layer I’ve found. But without going into a technical explanation of why, I’ll say this knit is junk! I sent it back. I wouldn’t wear it if it was free.

I am satisfied with this item. I read reviews saying it was sized too small or sized too big that it had a weird smell, used too much packaging, yada yada yada, so I wasn't too sure how this was going to turn out. I've had and used polypropylene underwear for years. It fit,it didn't "smell", it kept my skin dry and it was reasonably priced.

Shrink a bit even in cold water - buy one size up

Fit fine as received, but after first cold water wash & air dry they were a bit smaller. I still wore them on my trip, but could use some a little bigger.

Could be perfect, but bottom hem comes apart first time top is washed.

I bought 2 Indera polypropylene tops to replace my old Duofold polypro tops. This is my first Indera product. The tops looked great out of the bag and fit well, true-to-size. They have a very soft texture compared to the ribbed Duofold tops. I washed the tops in two different loads, and both tops came out of the washer with thread from the bottom hem hanging off, and about 2-3" of hem missing, in exactly the same place. My washing machine rarely damages clothing, and because the hem came apart in the same place on these tops I believe this was due to poor stitching from the manufacturer. Normally I would return items like this, but I intend to eventually shorten the hem on these tops anyway, so it's no big deal. However, I do now worry that the neck, sleeve and wrist area seams might fail sooner rather than later, and I hope I'm wrong, because these are soft, good fitting tops, and Duofold polypro tops seem to no longer be available. I'm giving these tops three stars because I hope they will get their act together sewing-wise and remedy what appears to be a minor issue on an otherwise good product.

Perfect

Wonderful shirt. I read other reviews about the smell of this shirt. As long as you aren’t a picky 12 year old, it’s not a bad smell. It’s a great trade off for warmth.
