I’m Hooked!

I’ve now bought 3 Icebreaker long sleeve base layer women’s tops. Originally, to wear for outdoors activities, I’m so hooked on the comfort, breath ability, non-odor properties, I’m wearing Merino tops almost daily. Perfect for layering to keep warm, or single layer to keep cool and comfortable. I buy them on sale here to save, but they’re worth the investment in quality clothing. I’ve also purchased Smartwool version - both brands are excellent.

Lightweight, great length

Great for travel, looks good, can be dressed up if needed, light weight and packs tight, quick drying. Nice length for jeans or leggings, falls to low hip and a bit lower in back. I’ll gradually replace my long sleeve travel shirts with these.

Works well, but probably wouldn't buy more.

I bought this, along with base layer pants for a winter snowboarding trip. I loved how thin and light the material was! It's very soft, and feels great under your clothes. It isn't itchy at all. At the end of the day they are also very stretched out. For me personally, I feel like I spent a lot of money on something that worked just as well as my other base layers. They kept me warm, and I like having them now because they are so thin I can even wear them with jeans and stay warm and comfortable. But I don't plan on buying anymore.

Definitely buy if live in cold temps.

LOVE these shirts! The ones I bought (and I bought three because I am always cold), are actual ICEBREAKER shirts, just so you know. I bought these shirts to test ICEBREAKER apparel out, without spending the (sometimes exorbant) price on the ICEBREAKER website. I am sold. These 100% wool shirts are amazing. They DO keep me warm in very cold temps, they DO NOT hold smells, and they DO wash nicely if you follow the care instructions. So. Yes, do peruse Amazon for good prices on ICEBREAKER apparel, but they are worth the price the ICEBREAKER website places on them. I now have leggings (one bought from the actual website) and several shirts. All have been in use constantly during this winter, and are my go-to for those crazy cold days.

Beautiful and so soft!

This is a beautiful base layer that is so soft against bare skin. The fit it perfect, not tight or loose, just right. Love it!! Will buy again when I need to replace it.

THE Best!

Icebreaker's Everyday 175 100% merino wool items are the perfect layer almost year round. Breathable, easy to clean (and/or just air out overnight), true to size and just downright comfortable! I wash mine warm and hang to dry... never shrink, colors don't run. Bought normal size according to chart. Highly recommended.

Absolut empfehlenswert als Layer

Die Icebreaker Qualität überzeugt immer wieder. Die 175er Shirts sind wunderbar zum drunterziehen geeignet. Sie wärmen ohne aufzutragen. Es ist ein wunderbares Gefühl im Winter, einen waren warmen Rumpf zu haben. Die Shirts sind ohne Weiteres waschbar und unkompliziert in der Handhabung. Sie kratzen nicht, auch nicht auf der nackten Haut! Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und in einem ansprechenden Pappkarton Punkt an der Verpackung könnte man sicherlich noch ein bisschen sparen bzw. sie noch umweltfreundlicher gestalten, indem man nur Papier nimmt zum Einschlagen. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern. Ich habe inzwischen mehrere Shirts dieser Art bestellt und bin total zufrieden.

okay

Nicht mehr ganz so stabil die Hemdchen von icebreaker wie vor Jahren als ich sie zum ersten Mal gekauft hatte... bekommen viel öfter diese typischen kleinen Löchchen, die man auch gerne in T-Shirts bekommt... Nur ärgerlich, bei den Preisen! Ansonsten liegt gut auf der Haut (manchmal juckt es, aber nicht so dolle wie bei normaler Wolle), nicht schwitzig! Ärmel lang genug und nicht zu lang. Muss halt immer suchen, bis ich die richtige ShirtVariante bei icebreaker finde... aber mit diesm bin ich zufriden!

Schön, aber hat nach bereits einem Waschgang Löcher

Also an sich ist das ein schönes Shirt, hält warm und ist leicht, also toll für Outdoor Aktivitäten. Allerdings hatte ich mir für den Preis eine wesentlich höhere Qualität erhofft, auch wegen der Marke, die mitunter als Experte für Merino-Stoffe gilt. Nach einem Mal Waschen (im Wäschenetz!) gleich das erste Loch, schade! Richtig enttäuscht bin ich aber jetzt nach dem 2. Waschgang (wieder im Wäschenetz) - es sind nämlich nochmal 2 Löcher dazu gekommen. Finde ich absolut unerklärlich und unmöglich für den Preis!
