Door knobs

Door knobs are great, but contrary to the 1st photo, only one is included
The primary photo has two knobs, both with the screws showing so I thought this was a 2 pack, but it's only for one. Despite their being only one, the knob was easy to install and looks great.

A bit hard to open.
Maybe it's the way I installed it but it is difficult to turn the handle. Takes a major effort and some weak-handed people think it's locked.

I Replaced All The Old Door Knobs In My House With These.
They're great! Only caveat is if it's a DIY project, and you are replacing old doorknobs, then you just might have to drill out the hole in the door to accommodate these newer knob assemblies. How the heck do you do that? You drill a hole the proper size in a scrap piece of 3/4" pine and then clamp it securely & precisely over the old hole. THAT provides you with a jig to hold the drill bit steady. It's easy-peasy this way. Otherwise, it's almost impossible. You can do this!

Decent price for and average priduct, could be a bit tricky to install.
Relatively easy to install, especially if you have correct sized holes predrilled. If not, you'll have to be careful, as these seem sensitive to having more precision in size and position than I expected. I bought several of these, plus the privacy version, to replace all of my old interior knobs. I prefer this mushroom type to the feel of the older ones, which were also getting quite tarnished (not in a fixable way). That's just a matter of taste, however. I will say that, compared to the older knobs, these are lightweight and, consequently, feel flimsy. After installation, I had issues with a few of them sticking if rotated one way or the other, so I had to re-do approximately one in four of them. All I did was level them out a bit, although that took some elbow grease and measuring. Since I like the finished look and they now work fine, I consider that to have been a typical home improvement adventure, where absolutely nothing is EVER as easy as promised and takes at least twice as long as predicted. Would have given another star if they had a more substantial feel and another if installation were less frustrating, as every one needed additional sanding to fit the older holes and I had to re-do a few of them. Conclusion, these are appropriate for an average home owner, with newer doors, I suspect. I do not think the lock version would make me feel safe for an exterior door, due to the insubstantial feel, but I did not need them for that purpose, only the interior door versions.

Stylish and great price
Looked for new oil rubbed bronze knobs forever to replace my old antique brass knobs and didn't want to spend a fortune. The price on these at Amazon was the best I could find, and I'm very pleased with the quality. Installation was easy. I replaced 6 privacy knobs, 6 closet knobs, and 2 one-sided knobs about a year ago, and they still look and function just as wonderful as they did the day I replaced them.

Door Knob w/Style...
Hello fellow Amazon Shoppers! Dr. P reporting on the Honeywell classic door knob. My wife and I bought an older town home and the original fixtures were 20 years old at least. They needed replacement bad. I found this knob along with matching deadbolt. Replacing a door knob takes minimal handy skills pretty cut and dry. Unscrew old set, adjust holes for new set, screw in new set, done! We have had this knob for 2 months and no issues. We love how it looks on our door!
