Might not be what you're hoping for - with the low flow you want fewer nozzles than this

I bought this showerhead because it looked almost exactly like an amazing Hans Grohe showerhead that we had for years. I naively assumed this new one would be a similar experience even though that older model was not a low-flow showerhead at all. The problem is that when you put this showerhead in the mode where it actually uses all of its nozzles, it's low flow rate just doesn't have anywhere near the power. In that mode the water does drip out pretty weakly and it's sort of nice but not very useful. This means that the only mode that we ever use it in, is the mode where it it turns off the whole outer circle of nozzles. And.... that in turn means that you might as well have bought the smaller one or one of the ones with fewer nozzles. It's a pretty good showerhead though! Even though I can tell it's not using very much water at all, it feels pretty good. I just feel silly that I always use it with the whole outer ring of nozzles turned off.

Received an open box or returned item with a lot finger prints around.

The package received in time, but definitely shining crown finish full of finger prints….must be an open box or returned item. I hope a fair price reduction.

Great size!

We wanted a rain shower head and this fit the bill. I have noticed that the water trickles out on some of the holes after time so it isn't perfect.

Great flow for 2.5gpm model but…..

We have loved the HG for the past month and a half. The finish was a perfect match with our Koehler fixtures. …. But after our first cold night we turned on the shower and the shower head disassembled. Amazon was great with the return and reissued the same item. I am hopeful it was a one off issue. For the amount of money this unit is, I was surprised how many plastic parts are used. I would have expected a shower head of this name and cost to be more substantial.

Came apart / broke after just 5 months.

Over priced, not much water pressure and it came apart after just 5 months. We put it back together and the repair last a few weeks, then it comes apart again while in the shower. Would not purchase again.

Rain-like Shower, Wide Head, Great Quality

If you're going to spend this much money on a shower head, you want to know it's well made. This is! It is German-engineered and we expect many years of service. We've had shower heads with multiple settings (jet, pulse, massage, etc.), but we always end up with them permanently on the "rain" setting. This Hansgrohe shower head is designed to give us exactly the spray we like. It mixes water with air internally, so you do get the feeling of soft rain. At the same time, it delivers (up to) 1.8 gallons-per-minute, so you can get force to the shower if that's what you want (you adjust the volume with your shower tap). The nozzles themselves are high-grade silicone, so if-and-when we get limescale buildup (and we will since we're on well water), then all you do is rub a finger or washcloth over the nozzles to free up the spray again. Installation was a breeze. The shower head comes with a rubber gasket in it, so all that was required was to spin the old head off, wrap a few turns of teflon tape around the threads (may not be necessary, but why not?), and tighten this new head on. Using two hands, I was able to tighten it completely (if you do put a wrench on it, you might want to pad it with something like a paper towel to avoid damaging the finish). All done in 5 minutes. For us, this rain-shower is ideal. Recommended!
