Awkward style

I adore sweater dresses and this has full potential to be a great fitting dress. However, this fit is oddly. The cinched waist too long for my teen daughter. It doesn't sit naturally. I had my friend try it too and she had the same experience. If there were two lengths available, short and tall, this would work. The other option is to raise the cinched waist part and make this an empire waist dress. I think this would fit properly on someone about 5ft 5in to 5ft 7in tall. None of us who tried this dress on are that tall. We are all under 5ft 4in. I also think this style is dependent upon someone having a longer torso. All of us have short torsos. The material is super comfortable and this has held up well with regular washing and drying. My teen wears this around the house but due to the fit, she can't wear it out n about. Hopefully this helps others who are interested in this dress.

Heavy sweatshirt

Liked the length. Very heavy material. Pockets are deep. Did not really like fit. Fit per size chart.

Comfy, soft

This dress is made with soft, sweatshirt material and is super comfy! I love that it has pockets. I found it a bit shapeless, but the belted feature in the middle kind of helps. I have worn it as kind of loungewear at home so far, but I think it could also make a cute outfit to wear out if styled right.

Boxy on top and a bit shapeless

I was hoping this would be a cute sweatshirt dress for casual days. I was glad the skirt is not too short and it was a bit oversized right out of the bag. I washed and dried on low and it did shrink a bit but sizing was still fine. The cut was just disappointing and not that flattering for me. The top was very boxy and the drop shoulder design made me very broad across the shoulders. The elastic waist was too big so there was little actual definition in the waist for me - the elastic just makes the proportions a bit off. It might have been better if there was a drawstring waist so it could be cinched in more or leave out the elastic and just be a straight shift.

I ordered this sweatshirt dress for myself, in my usual size large. For reference, I am 5'6", 180lbs, 38D, size large tops. I feel that this runs true to size. PROS: + Beautiful quality fabric + Washes/dries nicely + Bright, vivid color + Soft + Giftable + Affordable + Comfortable + Warm

Wrong Size (?)

I ordered 3X, but was sent 1X..? Or maybe it's 3X, but they used the wrong tag..? Regardless, it's an interesting sweatshirt dress.. Not very flattering and a bit too bulky.. I'm usually a fan of Amazon Essentials clothing, but this is a miss, especially with the sizing mix up..

fits as expected

I am very impressed with the quality and fit. The dress is made from a soft, comfortable knit material and has a flattering A-line shape that is perfect for everyday wear. The waistband cinches in at just the right spot to give a nice shape without being too tight.
