Great Kitchen Bags but really hard to recycle the box if you are a little old lady with bad hands

As always Glad comes through again. I am a little old lady with bad hands who finds it difficult to go to stores that sell this. I compared on line the price here to other places I won't mention. They were all the same price but having Prime membership meant it got shipped free. Sure can't beat that. My only complaint is that there is so much glue holding the box together firmly that I had a very difficult to open and flatten it for recycling. I live in a senior apartment building and they threaten us with doom and gloom if we don't flatten the boxes. I am afraid I will meet them standing next to the recycling dumpster with some archaic torture weapon saying I warned you, so I always comply. Of course the extra strength glue holds the ends shut so it becomes a long time dispenser. There is a flap you can open so use can easily dispense your bags, but it is difficult to recognize. Ok I admit it, I didn't see it until it was too late. Updated review:... spoke too soon... they actually were quite flimsy. After first bag all the rest tore at the top whenever I'd take them out of trash can. .... I reviswd to 3 stars just because i tended to fill the bag up and it would cause a vacuum under the bag making it more difficult to lift out of can................................ original review: Great bags... strong... smell is good... subtle not overwhelming so much that they cause heartburn lol.. holds trash or recycles (and even debris from our poky Christmas tree and broken ornaments) - like a champ. So I can keep filling the landfill and killing the earth. KIDDING! jeese... global warming and snowflakes dont mix people... ok?! I'll stop. I do like these bags so far though. Not that it matters since all the world will be a desert of death and scorched earth by 2050...ugh... sorry... it's all about the bags. They will save us all from climate change and artificial human intelligence... soooooooo.... HAPPY FREAKING NEW YEAR FOLKS! So GLAD I could "give back"a bit by leaving this review! I hope it helps. FYI these bags are so good It may take +/-100 years to break down BUT... like I said. Wont matter cause we will all be plant food (for plants that grow after the next ice age.) No lol but I hope I and all the science is wrong or it's a conspiracy or something. I'm such a downer... well I had the red pill and should a stuck with blue. I Enjoy the GLAD bags I buy after reading this review ;-)

I've had to throw out every single one I've pulled out of the box so far...

but I do so with the confidence that the ForceFlex will not tear as I stuff it full of real garbage! Seriously though, I've been using ForceFlex for a couple years now. I made the mistake of picking up a small box of cheap bags when at the grocery store one day, and I'll never do that again. I like knowing that when I go to throw a bag of trash into the big garbage bin, the bag is going to hold up and not bust out the bottom leaving me to pick up a nasty mess off the ground. It's pretty amazing the amount of stuff you can cram into a single bag. Things you think would poke out of the bag, just causes the 'Flex' to kick in and keeps everything in place. There are times you can go cheap and generic to save a few bucks, but trash bags probably aren't the place you want to do that. Hard to beat the deal on these here on Amazon!

I love these bags

Of all the kitchen garbage bags I have used over the years these stand above the rest. The glad ForceFlex bags are wonderful because the thickness of the plastic is slightly increased from previous bags or brands. The other thing they have is the stretching ability which adds durability and strength. There is nothing worse than going to take out the trash and having the bag rip when you're trying to remove it from the trash can or worse, ripping when you are carrying it and spilling nasty garbage juice all over you and your floor. These bags seem to at the very least hold up better than some of the other bargain brand trash bags out there. This is a great deal as well, at the store a pack of 100 13gallon trash bags like this would cost around $20. I highly recommend this to anyone willing to spend a little more on a superior product that the cheaper bags out there. These also have a drawstring in them for easier tie up.

Comparable to store price this saves you so much money. Strong, no rip bags keep your trash in and makes it easier to take out without worrying about a mess.
