I took a gamble on this part
My 19-year old built-in GE Profile Microwave oven suddenly stopped heating. Everything else worked fine. The oven is a styling match for our GE Profile gas range and a new "Profile" top-of-the-line quality microwave now costs $500 +. I took the oven to a electronics technician who charged me $30.00 for troubleshooting. The verdict, a dead magnetron, two bad circuit board components, and everything else looked good-to-go. I decided to gamble and ordered this magnetron. I then paid the technician's labor charge to install it and to soldered in two new circuit broad components. The oven now works like new and the repair cost less than half the cost of a new top-of-the-line built-in microwave oven. If I can get another five years out of this oven, I will be a happy gambler.

The magnetron was the part that was my issue with our microwave, it quit heating, now works great.
The magnetron is identical to original part except for the bracket screws--the original had stud screws but replacement didn't and therefore was tough to install but for the new magnetron, I put super glue on the screw heads and later came back and installed and worked perfectly.. The reason I had to glue because of a plastic shroud (housing) around the magnetron that couldn't be taken off (on my GE model)..

Works great even months later!
Installation can be a little daunting if you’re not familiar with repairing appliances/electronics/etc. but installation went smooth. Magnetron has been installed for a few months now and still works good as new!

Great quality! Great Product!
First time our mag went out (6 years ago) we paid 315.00 to have it replaced. This time I discovered YouTube repair videos!! Sooo easy! Our microwave is a high end GE Profile that matches our range (in case you wonder why bother). ????

They don't make 36" microwaves anymore, so this replacement part kept us from having to revamp our range hood.

What can I say?
What can I say? It works and saved me several hundred dollars since I did not have to purchase a new microwave
