It did the job
Replaced the capacitor in my GE Microwave two years ago. Still going.

Affordable replacement for burned out OEM capacitor
Worked. Used this to replace the capacitor in a GE double oven microwave. The microwave kept blowing fuses after I replaced them. Found a detailed technical service manual for this oven. I was able to take out the microwave, test the old capacitor and found it shorted. This capacitor matched the part number that was on the capacitor that I took out. It does not say GE on the capacitor, but I replaced the dead capacitor and the high voltage diode (GE WB27X10597). Replaced the fuse, put the microwave back in and that fixed it.

Worked As Advertised
I was able to put in this item myself, but it did not come with adequate instructions, or any reference on how to find those instructions. I had to wind up calling a repairman, who pointed out one small thing I missed. If I had known about that small thing, I could have done it myself in five minutes and saved the $85 service call. The part works fine; lack of good instructions keeps it from being five stars.

Made my GE Profile Microwave like new again
When my GE Profile over the range microwave made a load groaning noise and then lost all power, I was sure I was in for a replacement bill of around $500+. I opened the unit up to find both system fuses blown. I went to Lowe's to buy replacements, but as soon as I powered back up and tried heating, the fuses blew again. Some searching around on the web revealed that the High Voltage capacitor is often the culprit when the loud groaning noise is followed by heating failure. For $42, I now have a working microwave again. Installation was super easy. I am thrilled!

Easy plug and play repair at a fraction of the ...
I also replaced this capacitor while replacing the Magnetron on a GE Profile Spacemaker XL 1800. This was a common failure item so I figured I would replace it while I had access to the inside. Easy plug and play repair at a fraction of the cost to replace the microwave.

Great replacement
Worked great. Microwave did not heat and was blowing fuses. Replaced this and the diode on a GE profile and it works fine.
