Granddaughter loves this
Excellent product supporting lots of hand-eye coordination and sequencing thought patterns for my six year old granddaughter. It didn’t take her long to catch on and she is a fierce competitor!! ????????

Fun for all, kids love theme
Ok so if you ever played a game called Egyptian Rat Screw with a standard deck of cards (my fav in middle school!), this is literally the same game. So yeah, you dont need a special deck. However my kids are 4 and I dont think they'd catch on or see the patterns well with a deck of cards as they do with sandwich themed carda that look like cheese, tomato, anchovies, etc. My kids LOVE this game. So for that, honestly it's worth the themed deck. We play without the muncher cards for now bc those are a little too confusing for 4 year olds. One thing is the novelty tin makes it less portable. I kinda wish I'd gotten the one in a regular card box, would make it easier to take to restaurants and such with them. I do like the card art better on the lunchbox edition tho and my kids get a kick out od the tin box. If it's for younger kids it's absolutely worth it. If it’s for teens or adults, look up the rules to Egyptian Rat Screw and grab a deck of cards.

A perfect game for everyone
I use this game for fun with a lot of different guests for short games at the kitchen table. As adults, when the cake card appears we all yell Happy birthday and everyone has a swallow of their "beverage". So....you can pretty much add rules to make it more interesting for adult players. It's fun and people seem to really get into it. I can see how families with different ages people enjoy this game together. Always nice quality with Gamewright. The cards in this edition are different than the original game which is still available. Several cards in this edition are "shiny". They have a noticible metalic shiny sheen. I personally like the cards in the original edition best. Reason to have both * if you play it regularly, the changeup is nice but not necessary. Gamewright probably won't add the idea to yell Happy birthday and take a drink....lol but it sure is fun, responsibly of course. :) I think this is a great addition to any game collection....I love it!

collectors tin addition makes for a nice gift; nice family game
Cute little game. I bought it as a gift for a couple of little boys. I figured even if they lose cards, they can still play with the container as this is the collectors addition. Also figured this container would be better than a typical box for storage. It seemed easy enough to teach, to play. Nice, big colorful graphics. For 2-6 players, ages 6 and up. I think it is fine for any age- not so complicated that a super youngin' wouldn't want to play or watch. Fun enough for whole family, or even just between the children.

the kids (aged 6 and 7) LOVE this game
This game was one of my favorites when I was little, so I was excited to share it with some kids I tutor in ESL. I will start with the most important part: the kids (aged 6 and 7) LOVE this game. The rules are simple enough to explain through a language barrier and the game play is fast enough they stay engaged and don't get bored. The game should take 20-30 minutes, but can potentially last over an hour... but then either the kids get bored and you call time, or you can start sabotaging your own hand, haha. The cards are pretty sturdy, surviving sticky fingers and being dropped all over the place. However, I do NOT like most of these new cards. The old game I had had normal things you'd find on a sandwich-- peanut butter and jelly, lettuce, bacon, etc. The new cards, while having pretty silver flecks, have a lot of... strange... things to put on a sandwich. Chicken drumsticks? Cake? Gummy worms?? But even so, the kids haven't caught on that cake definitely doesn't go on sandwiches, and the gameplay is just as fun as the "old" version. The tin seemed like it would be nice, but mine arrived damaged and cannot close properly.

Bought this for the 7 year old in my life and I cannot stop recommending it! The collector's edition tin adds a nice touch to its aesthetic appeal, and is what attracted me to the product. So happy about this purchase. The game itself is lots of fun and suitable for kids and adults. 5 stars all around.
