Split Apart after first use

Work well for intended use but will end up splitting apart on you after first use.

They seem durable but are a little awkward

After reading some reviews on these dodge balls, I was pretty excited to get some larger ones for the kids and I to play with during our little tournaments. Well the hype was squashed some when we got the balls and found them to very awkward to grip and throw. They have a slippery feeling to them and you can not really grip them enough to throw the way you would expect when trying to precisely peg someone (especially your child who talks smack to you while playing, lol). After about an hour of play, two of the balls were ripped and the others we shelfed where they have been gathering dust since. Overall a 3 is a generous rating for the product and I would not recommend to others who want a functional and durable ball option.

Still loving them after a year!

Bought these for our church youth group to play dodge ball over a year ago. Even with lots of intense use, they look great! No issues! Would highly recommend.

Pretty good but not great

Good price. Disappointed that after four rounds of dodgeball in one night two balls started to peel. I don’t think these balls are meant for older more competitive kids. However, they are great for reducing injuries from headshots.

My kids love these - we never have enough!

My kids love these, so a colorful pack of 6 was perfect for our family! They use them in the trampoline or out on the lawn with their friends. It’s also not detrimental if they end up in the house. They’re nice and soft so we avoid crying and injuries, and they’re also easy for the kids to hold in their hands.

Bad Lot?

All 6 from the original order have split along the seems, one split almost in half. This has been mostly an adhesion of the rubber coating to the foam under it. Franklin has sent a replacement set and it is from the same lot number and the first ball used has already started to come apart after about 30 minutes of play I would not recommend buying these until Franklin resolves the coating coming off.

Love!!!!!!

We LOVE these dodgeballs. We discovered them at a friends house and just had to buy them for our house. We've had a lot of dodgeball games in our back yard. My husband and I throw them at our kids pretty hard and they don't hurt. They are easy to throw and catch. They are durable. We've had them for a few months and have used them a lot and they still look like new. Highly recommend!!

Poor durability

Skin started to bubble and tear after only one 1.5 hour use. Future life looking poor.

These balls do not last.

Bought these for out of school care. Kids between 6-12 using them for less than 2 months. No sting, throw well, but under regular dodge-ball use by children all but one of six balls failed. Mostly the skin comes off, but one also split down the middle into the foam. The kids were using them quite regularly, but always indoors on a smooth tile floor. The return window for these is closed now, so I guess I'll just have to get some balls from a different source, but this was very disappointing.

Great at first, don’t last long

At first they were awesome, after three weeks of continued use at a kids camp playing dodgeball they are already starting to rip and tear. Wish they would’ve lasted a bit longer cause they’re the best dodgeballs our group has used.

Great for kids and youth

We have had used these balls for a few kids and youth events, they have been a blast and worth the money... now I just need my hands on 18 more balls.
