Awesome
This works awesome, it would take me hours to pick thru the media for my casings then I'd have to use a drill bit to get out the stuck media, this got it all in about 3 spins literally took 20 seconds, I highly recommend it, I used wet media so it works for wet or dry

Product does the job and sifts through the media well, it would be nice if there was an easier way to pour out the water without losing some media.

Works fantastic
This media Separator works perfectly. Very Happy with it. It separated my brass from the tumber media perfectly. The only advise I can give is to purchase "Paint Strainer Bags" (Cheap) from Home Deport or Lowes. It helps considerably.

Works great but needs some minor improvements!
Works well but needs a better clamp designed to hold it firmly in the slots of the bucket. Also needs a better clasp arrangement when holding the drum closed, it is a little bit of a pain to insert and remove the pin, but all in all it does work well!

Get the Frankfort arsenal tumbler from walmart.com and Spend the extra $50 on the tumbler and magnetic separator
When I first opened the package I got the feeling this was a bit flimsy but after you put it together it is definitely strong enough to handle any amount of brass you can reasonably put in it. As others had stated your going to want to screw or somehow fix the tumbler mounting brackets to the bucket or else theyll move while your tumbling, causing a good bit of frustration so just go ahead and do it first just to get it out of the way. If your going to wet tumble your brass this and the magnetic separator are a must. I thought I could use my Dillon tumbler since it worked so well for dry tumbling but that resulted in stainless steel media flying everywhere, wasting a lot of water, and a lot of headache. Spend the extra $50 on the tumbler and separator its well worth it. Also you can find the Frankfort arsenal tumbler on walmart.com for about $150 instead of $200+ on amazon

Flimsy, poor fit of basket and handle assy.
I purchased this media separator for use strictly of my stainless steel pin after wet tumbling. While it may function well for dry cob-type media, it is a flimsy, hard-to-manage latch, thin bucket, poor fit of the basket-to-bucket container, and more that no one would expect from Frankford Arsenal. I have both Lyman and Dillon separators, which function very well for dry media, yet a bit large and cumbersome for my intentions of the steel media pins. The price is quite affordable, compared to other brands, but to me not worth even that amount for the purchase. To my disappointment, I am unable to recommend this unit for any wet media use.

Shiny clean brass in 2 hrs - nice and sparkly
The wet tumbler Works very well at cleaning brass I went back and re-cleaned any brass I cleaned with my walnut shell vibratory cleaner No contest - my brass is spic and span now ***NOW the media separator works very nicely Don’t try rinsing the steel pins out or the wet tumbler container with the screening caps What a pain that is Just dump the dirty water out and refill with clean water then dump a full tumbler into the media separator and fill the bucket with clean water as you spin the handle Violà Clean shot by brass Pour into brass sifter and let dry

I know you're looking at this thing thinking it's pretty expensive so a bunch of plastic
I know you're looking at this thing thinking it's pretty expensive so a bunch of plastic. But if you're using stainless media like I am, this product is a must have. After tumbling your shells in this they are completely media free. Knowing now how well it works and how much time it saves I would pay twice as much for it if I had to.
