Would not stay up

Granted these were inexpensive, so I wasn’t expecting perfection, but no matter how well or how tight I tied the fabric, these would not stay up. I had them on for 5 minutes and was walking around and they slid down. Retied then extremely tight and they still slid down 5 minutes later. My legs aren’t skinny, I do have calves, but they still just slid down into a pile at my feet.

Not as expected

Expected sandals with straps but the bottom is flimsy cloth and very small. Did not fit my son’s size 13 feet for his history presentation.

Use duct tape to hold up straps

They fall down after you take a few steps. Use duct tape to hold it up and you’ll be fine. Bottom is about as thick as a low quality pot holder. Didn’t matter to us. Good for our one time costume.

More like Roman slippers

Made of cushions and fabric. They look like slippers. The actor wore them and said they were comfortable, but they did not look like Roman sandals at all. We ended up finding a method on Pinterest to make our own.

Price is indicative of the quality.

These are not made very well, and I think that was the point as they only cost a few dollars. As you've read from the other reviews I'm sure, the bottoms are a very flappy strip of cotton that doesn't respond well when walking. I had some brown flip flops laying around so I cut the straps off of the soles and simply glued them to my sandals; that worked out better than the original product. Overall, I have no regrets because I felt the previous reviews prepared me for what to expect. I'd buy again if I had some DIY itch I need to scratch.

A little flimsy

My son wore these for a costume party. They looked pretty good but the soles are like thin slippers - no traction, very slippery - and the straps don't stay up very well.

Not More Than a Slipper That Needs Alterations

To best describe these would be to call them costume slippers. I would not wear them to a party because they are fabric bottom not a non-slip. The toe area would have to be sewn to adjust for my apparent tiny feet. I typically wear an US 9.5 men's shoe, the length is about right. So, I would not recommend them to someone with a size 11+. I decided to use the straps off the sandals and added them to my brown Nike flip flops, to have both a function and look when I sport my costume in public. Don't want a fabric bottom shie when walking into a men's room.

Roman sandals - not for larger feet

Being a size 11.5, these sandals were almost too small for me. There were no size options when selecting the product. My toes or my heel hung over the sandal when I wore them. The picture depicted a foot bed of bamboo-style; however the product arrived with a brown cloth foot bed. Not a huge deal, but picture did not accurately represent the product. Tie up laces came loose a number of times and had to be redone. Satisfied with the quick delivery for Halloween and product over all.

Ne tiens pas en place

Au prix que j'ai payé, je ne m'attendais pas à grand choses ! Mais j'ai tout tenté pour faire tenir les bandes même jusqu'à les coller avec du ruban adhésif hahaha mais sans succès. Donc mon chum les as porté 10 mins pour se résigner à porter des sandales

Don’t buy

Don’t buy the quality of this product is horrible!!

Very poor quality

Very poor quality product. Could not use these at all. They have a very thin sole and if you try to walk outside in them, you hurt your feet on every tiny stone that you step on. The straps across the sole are way too loose so your feet just flop around and they don’t stay on. The ties just slide down your leg. I would not recommend these at all.

Mens size 8 or 9

It says one size, but it's for men with feet size 8, maybe even a 9
