Great access to all valves!

I purchased this Flame King RV propane tank cover to replace the stock cover after I installed a storage rack on my trailer tongue. The stock propane cover didn’t allow easy access to the propane and changer over valves once the storage rack was installed. I love the 4 strategically placed access ports that are provided on this cover rather than the single top access door that came with the stock cover. Also, with the storage rack in place, the cover must be split in half to remove the propane tanks. I had to modify the stock cover by removing the rivets and installing nuts and small bolts to hold the two halves together, but the top access door still proved a challenge. The Flame King cover already comes with the necessary nuts and bolts to piece together the two halves, so no modifying was required. Some might prefer a soft cover in a case like mine where a storage rack is used, but I live in a high theft area where propane tanks are a hot item. A hard cover provides a little more challenge to thieves who aren’t too determined. I highly recommend this Flame King propane tank cover even if you don’t have a tongue mounted storage rack. Oh, by the way, I have 2 - 30LB propane tanks, so it fits both 20 & 30LB tanks just like the stock cover did.

Best 30lb tank cover out there!

I recently upgraded my travel trailer to double 30lb tanks over the stock 20lb tanks and of course needed a new cover for them. Until recently, only the Camco branded cover was available for the 30lb size, which having had their 20lb size currently, I was not thrilled with. The camco cover has one awkward flip lid that does not allow easy access to the splitter; whereas the flame king model has easy screw off caps to access both tanks as well as the splitter. Much better! To "amazonman" and his review showing the cover being too short, for whatever reason he has the 20lb version, so he was sent the wrong item and the bad review is unwarranted.

I recommend this unit above all others on Amazon . The item is quality made had a new unit made by competitor lasted 1 trip. You won't go wrong with this Flame King model.

Definitely not meant for 30lb tanks

I bought this for the 30lb tanks on our RV. The packaging even said for 30lb propane tanks. I think the pictures are proof it does not fit 30lb tanks. The only reason for 2 stars is I like the covers are easy access to the valves and seems built well. But again packaging and order said fits 30lb tanks.....clearly does not. Very disappointed.

Damaged

Received the LP Tank cover, I had a chip along the one edge. I didn't want to return it because the 1st one I received was for 20 lb dual lp tanks and I needed 30 lb dual lp tank cover for my rv. It's always such a hassle to return anything. So I guess I'll just deal with it.

How do you screw this up?

The sticker says 30 pound tank. The description says 25” tall. Well it’s 20” tall the same as the 20 pound tank cover I want to replace. So now I have to send back and find another seller. This was actually on a previous review. But the other reviews were good. They must have received the correct size. What a waste of my time.
