For hitch recovery mounting.

I have this 5 stars because everything from Factor 55 has been quality items. My only beef is that the one I ordered only has one way for the hitch pin to mount. When I looked into this, some internet pictures show 2 holes and others 1. Just something to look into before buying. Anything works, it’s just something that looks nice before it get beat up after using it.

Easy to carry and versatile. Worth the money!

I bought this after I had to pull a friend out of a ditch on a trail, who was behind me and turning around was impossible. I wasn't sure how many time that I'd use it, but I have several other Factor 55 products, this was inexpensive and easy to carry. Fast forward to the last snowstorm. I helped two vehicles out of snow embankments that has skidded off the road and were both buried up to the axels. They tried digging to get to a recovery point, and both had a rear hitch receiver. I used the Factor 55 HITCHLINK in their receiver and then hooked up to my winch and easily pulled them out.

Great piece of recovery hardware, but it did not completely fit my application.

Purchased this to be used with my 2015 Crosstrek w/ Ecohitch installed. It's a solid product and I have loads of friends who have had great success with them in "normal" style hitches. The Ecohitch is designed to sit behind the bumper and a plug hides it when not in use. The issue with the HitchLink 2.0 for me is that it is not long enough and when there's a d-ring style shackle on it, the locking pin for the shackle hits the bumper. See photos. It does however fit and work great with a soft shackle, so I'm not completely out of luck. I did search for measurments before purchasing, but could not find any, even on Factor 55's website. Just wish it was a little longer with a third pin hole so I could keep a hard shackle on it.

Great recovery tool.

Just received this about 10 days ago. Fits perfectly in the 2-in receiver. It seems well made and the red color looks great! The hole of the shackle was a little tight for the pin but with a little back and forth twisting, I was able to install it. I recommend this item if you can't attach a shackle to your bumper.

Very good quality

Made out of aluminum so it won’t rust. Factor 55 won’t let you down when you need to recover. I actually suggest soft shackles with these and any recovery gear vs the standard D shackle
