Good Quality

I like these snap ring pliers. They are certainly capable. I do like the slim design and the handles are comfortable to hold and use. There is a little bit of sticking when you have them at full open. A little more oil and a bunch of open and closing can work it out. The other issue is that they are spring loaded to stay open. And they do. I wish there was some kind of clasp at the end of the handles or elsewhere to keep them shut in the toolbox. To improvise a rubber band will work too. Good quality and value. 4 solid stars.

good ring pliers

retaining rings are such a PITA, but yet, so useful... installing them, and removing them can be tedious at times... good pliers help... these pliers are spring loaded which is helpul, they bite well into the retaining ring hole for the few I tested on... the pliers do have a bit of drag at the hinge point... I tried to oil it, and it helped a lot, but still a little stiff...but considering the price point here... overall, a good pair of ring pliers...

Good, simple pliers, great value

These are simple and basic pliers, they have a little bit of padding on the handle so you won't kill your hands unless you are doing a ton of heavy hand work... so for occasional use they are just fine. They open and close just fine without greasing as well. I would say they aren't the highest quality pliers I've ever used but they get the job done.

Snap Ring

This review is for the 7" Internal Snap Ring Pliers These are good quality pliers for removing and putting on snap rings. Nothing else will really get a snap ring without destroying the ring. I know, as I have messed up many of them trying to make due. These are close to the quality of channel lock.

Sturdy Snap Ring Pliers

These snap ring pliers are sturdy and get the job done. The coating on the handles make then quite comfortable. They are a bit stiff, but they work well. I do wish there was some sort of closure so that they took up less room in the tool box.

Great Quality Tool from Sunex

What did I use it for? I used this snap ring pliers to remove a lawn mower pulley. The pulley had an external snap ring so this pliers was not designed to remove external snap rings, however it still did the job; I just had to use two hands to open the pliers. Initial Quality? I have been happy with the quality of Sunex tools in the past and this pliers is no exception. What I like? The grip is nice and it has a nice surface finish. What I dislike? I wish the spring was a little stronger that pushes the pliers open. Is the price justified? The price of this pliers is acceptable for the quality and the lifetime warranty of Sunex tools. If my opinion changes in the future, I will update this review.

Delicate Enough for My Hands

I make jewelry and work with pliers a lot. Many are awkward and bulky. These have a nicely finished handle, move easily, and are precise. I don't use them for snap rings but good pliers a good for so many uses.

Well made snap ring pliers

These snap ring pliers feel like quality in your hand. They are forged steel construction with a riveted joint for wobble free action. I have broken several lesser quality snap ring pliers in the past and I expect these to last a very long time.
