I like it- not enough to keep

Truthfully I’m having a difficult time finding lamps that have the flush plugs. I thought I would give this one a try. I do like it, though it wasn’t going to fit the space like I needed. Also, isn’t it odd that it didn’t come with a light bulb..?

It's All In the Details

There are positives and negatives about this lamp base. As other reviewers have noted, I would prefer the wording in the title, especially, be altered to stress that this is a base ONLY. As all the images show a pretty bulb and even smart bulbs being used, it would be easy enough for customers to misunderstand what you're getting. You basically are getting the cylindrical base, which is sleek and modern, but would kind of look strange as a "lamp," give its small stature and lack of shade. The sleeve is removable, if you happen to dislike the color. The base is also non-slip. It has a max of 25 watts, which isn't much. It means you pretty much need to use an LED bulb with it. Operating it is simple enough - just one simple switch, and the fact that you can mount it on a wall, etc, and it comes with a mounting template (on the inside of the flap), means this might be a good solution if you have a dark closet or pantry - a space that's small but still needs light. My biggest beef? I hate the plug. I get that it's supposed to be flat, low-profile, whatever, but it being all off centered -cattywampus, would be my word of choice - just basically messes with whatever else you want to plug in. My husband, however, disagrees and likes this design. The cord is nice - thick, braided, and 6' long.

This is a fun way to bring a light anywhere. Great design for home, office or dorm

This is just what you need to be able to have a light just about anywhere. Really simple yet innovative design. I love it because you can use it just about anywhere. Just put your bulb in, and you're ready to go. Works great for the home, home office or even for a dorm. Any room or space that needs some extra light.

Neat little lamp - needs an artsy light bulb or smart bulb to make it awesome

I like this little lamp. It's simple, with a nice cord (it's a flush 90-degree cord at the wall, so it fits well behind furniture), an easy on-off switch, and pleasing build. The grey cloth material wrapped around the base is a nice touch, and the overall look is clean. I'm going to use it as an accent light in the room where I record my livestream. To make this work awesome, I recommend either a classic style clear LED type bulb, or a smart bulb that can be adjusted for color or with a pattern. A normal bare LED white bulb is just too plain for a nice aesthetic appearance. It does have two screw mounts on the base, so that it could be mounted to a wall (screws not included). The on-off switch is a simple silver turn knob on the side at the base. Other than wishing the base were a little more weighty (for stability), I think this is a great little lamp.
