These lag screws are not in spec

The specs for a 3/8 inch lag screw is 3/8 inch for the threaded part and somewhere between 0.360 and 0.388 for the shoulder. The parts I received were oversized to 0.392 inches (measured with calipers). The hole they were supposed to used with are in spec. The shoulders do not fit a manufactured plate that I needed to install in a structure outside.

Apparently, A loaf of bread is hard to find as well

Specs were off. What has really annoyed me was their use of "Hard to find fastener". Dont fall for that. Go to your local HW store, Home Depot, Lowes or Menards FIRST. Dont make the same mistake I made.
