Label says Extensions (plural) but is only one (single) in an order.
Very annoyed with the way the product is listed. Gives a false impression that you are buying a pair. Really; why would you only need one? It fit the wheel chair we have.

not 8", you only get one & angle is awkward
PRO - fits Blue Streak chair - makes brake very easy to engage & disengage - easy on CON - not 8" but rather ~ 6.75 - not extensions as advertised only ONE extension - length + angle make it harder to clear doorways - length + angle make it impossible to get right up against beds & chairs If this were 2" shorter would still allow more leverage for setting brake without compromising proximity to things like chairs one wants to transfer into Even if this were same length if it were angled so as not to stick out so much would still give leverage through the mechanics of length without causing issues with doorways & transfers

Work Good for Me
Caveat: I ordered the long handles, and received the short handles instead. That said, it turned out I like the short handles better. They don't stick out and bump into things as I go along in my chair. What I don't like about them is that they don't stay on, and can pop off at the most inopportune times. The good part of this is that they have short cable type things that you put around the part where you put the handle on. This way, if the handle pops off, it isn't completely lost. My husband is going to clamp these on, so I don't have this problem anymore.

Wheel Chair Brake Extensions
Wheelchair brake handle extensions. I bought these for my mother and she absolutely loves them and it makes setting her brakes so easy. She doesn't know how she got along without them for so long. These were a good buy and fit her (Drive) wheel chair perfectly and look nice. The cords are a nice addition so if you need to removed them or if you fold up the chair for transport they are hanging there to easy grab and reinstall. Almost forgot yes you need to buy two of these these are only sold as single units.

Makes life easier
The brake extensions make braking and unbraking the wheelchair so much easier. Order arrived as expected. Happy with his purchase.

Worked perfectly for the brakes on the chair I bought that had a very short handle that was hard to engage
