Because Real Men Need to Smell Like Minerals and Sage!
Oh, Dove Men+Care Elements Body Wash. Thank you for making me smell like a mountain stream and a mystical herb garden all at once. I mean, who needs cologne when you can smell like a walking mineral bath? And let's talk about those "natural" ingredients. Mineral and sage? Wow, thanks Dove for tapping into the ancient art of body wash alchemy. I mean, who knew that minerals and sage were the secret to ultimate cleanliness? Move over, soap - there's a new sheriff in town. And the claim that it's "designed for men"? I mean, I know I've always felt like I needed a special kind of body wash to wash my manly parts. Thanks, Dove, for validating my insecurities. But in all seriousness, this body wash is actually pretty great. The scent is refreshing and not overpowering, and it leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized. Plus, the 18 oz. size means I won't have to restock for at least a month. In conclusion, if you're a man who wants to smell like a combination of rocks and herbs (who doesn't, really?), the Dove Men+Care Elements Body Wash is the perfect choice. And if you're a woman who wants to smell like a man who smells like rocks and herbs, go for it - no judgments here.

Love the product, hate the dispenser
The soap and price are great. Wonderful clean scent, cuts through grease, but seems mild. Like the moisturizing solution. The only downside is the dispenser flip top is difficult to open, especially with wet hands and it takes two hands to hold the bottle and pry open the cover with your fingernails! Ugh! I finally transferred the soap into another bottle with a one handed push open dispensing cap.

Great subtle scent, lots of suds
I am sort of scent sensitive, as is my wife so I’m careful about what I use every day. This body wash has turned out to be great in that regard, it smells good when washing but the smell doesn’t linger. Plus I feel fresh when I step out of the shower, super important. Recommended for anyone looking for something new.

Seriously, this is a great product. I love the scent. That said, it is almost rendered unusable by the worst package that I have ever come across. The bottle is designed with a pointy end so it can only be placed with the cap/dispensing point down. This is really a crapshoot as to whether it is sealed properly or not. If it doesn’t seal properly (which often happens) then the body wash leaks all over the place. If it does seal properly, the design is such that unless you have long fingernails or a pair of pliers you can’t get it open. My daughter went to the dollar store and bought some cheap product with a big pump. We poured that out and put the body wash in the new bottle. The pump works great. Hey Dove/Unilever... there’s a message here.
