Worried about durability

This small back porch light is just what the doctor ordered. I hope. The description mentions polished brass a few times and polished brass finish another time. This makes me wonder if it's brass plated. It probably is. I wish it would say. I have a much larger (solid) polished brass light out front that has probably lasted over ten years. So, fingers crossed that I don't have to hunt for another new light next year. I don't know if there's a way for me to update this review in the future.

a e omeot the front door, I'm thrilled. A feature important to me is not having to replace the bulbs for (they say) 5 years. Excellent feature for outside lights: when the bulb goes out, it's dark and hard to replace then.

Inexpensive

It was a little difficult to install perched on a ladder. It was designed to be attached to a recessed electrical box - flush to the wall and not an electrical box designed as a weatherproof box. I am afraid that it will not be well-sealed, and bugs will enter the box from the rear. However, it is cheap enough and one can work around these issues. To be used with 100 W LED bulbs. Great outside light for the backyard. Purchase bulbs separately at Amazon.com.

Not what I wanted

My mistake - didn't realize I couldn't use a light bulb. I prefer a dusk to dawn light which I achieve with my light bulbs.

Excellent lighting!

I didn't realize I had ordered led lights (no bulb), but I really like them. I had an electrician install them and it appeared very simple- probably could've done it myself. Electrician stated these were great lights that would last and use little energy. I was surprise at the amount of light they gave off. They are way better that my other bulb lights. I would purchase again. I bought them because they are simple yet attractive.

simple replace on front of house with clay vinal siding

looks a lot better than the old rusty ones and do not have to take apart to replace a bulb

Nice frill free light

This light is used for my front porch. Clear glass allows for plenty of light. Use a dusk to dawn bulb and am very pleased that I have options in choice of situations with bulbs rather than built-in features. I did not install but was not told it was difficult to install. Have had for about 4-6 months so don't know about durability but it is fine now.
