Did the job, looks great.
I didn't even know what the plate behind the shower valve was called. Now I know. It was a perfect replacement for our 30-year-old delta shower valve. The shower valve works perfect and after 30 years works smoothly and doesn't leak. I had already replaced the handle once. But I noticed that the holes where the screws go had cracked. So I read some reviews and it sounded like this was the right product, and it was. I just took the handle off, put A light bead of caulk around it (It has foam around the top half circle, so maybe the caulk wasn't needed, but it wouldn't hurt), cleaned up the old screws And installed the new escutcheon. as some viewers pointed out, the provided screws May be too short depending on how your valve was installed. In my case, they were too short. But the old ones cleaned up nicely. I cleaned up the handle and actually bought the two dollar replacement label, which fit perfectly, and now it looks like a new installation. Hopefully the new escutcheon Will be as durable as the previous one. My local Home Depot only carried a more comprehensive replacement kit. I didn't need that. Just a shiny new plate.

Perfect for an older delta faucet

Replaced old shower with new and old escutcheon could polish up any more. New handle as well. Looks like a whole new unit.

Difficult to find locally
I'm happy I was able to find this product and that it was as described. I could not find it locally because of its 5 and 7 o'clock screw holes (everything made now is at 3 and 9). It fit our "older" plumbing perfectly and looks wonderful compared to the old plate that was tarnished and ruined by our hard water. Product did not come with new screws (why it got 4 stars; for that much money we should've received 2 measly screws with it), had to use the old ones.

Does not come with everything needed.
The trim plate was nice and what I expected but did not come with the screws. I ended up getting the screws at the local hardware store for about 30 cents apiece.

Probably exactly what you're looking for
These seem impossible to find locally. Exactly what I needed. Also, the lighting in the seller's photo is abysmal. This is a chrome plated item.
