Maybe defective manufacturing?

I purchased this item as part of a bathroom remodel to match other parts chosen. The remodel has gone very slowly which means we just got around to installing it this weekend. The packaging was not damaged upon receipt. When removing the item from the packaging, I noticed the handle was very loose. After installation and a few minutes of operation, I was unable to turn off the flow of water. The handle was very loose and instead of rotating just 90 degrees, it rotated 360 degrees. The set screw seemed to be missing, so I purchased another one at the hardware store. After installing the set screw, the problem was not resolved, the handle was still loose, and I was unable to turn off the faucet. I am attempting to get it replaced or repaired and will update this posting when the matter is resolved. Update: Delta shipped a replacement cartridge that seemed to do the trick. Now, 5 years later, it is leaking again. Replaced the cartridge again (shipped from Delta) and it is leaking too.

Constant drip after first use - fixed - update

I purchased this tub filler faucet about 10 months ago and only recently used it for the first time. It has been dripping ever since then, getting worse as time goes on. My plumber switched the cartridge but it still leaks and I've been waiting for a replacement but nothing has arrived. There's obviously a problem with this unit. Update: Delta sent a new cartridge which my plumber installed & now it no longer drips.
