Does the job
I rated it below a full 5 stars cause it can be more difficult to keep the drain plug open than it should be. Otherwise happy with it.

The drain plug is flimsy
The hard part was getting the old drain plug apparatus out. This one either is not installed correctly (that could be true) or it is too flimsy. It just leans to one side.

Quality is better than I expected
Quality is better than I thought. Feels heavy! I almost returned it for it did not fit !!!! However, I unscrewed the white plastic screw off revealing the right size. I felt like a dummy . I guess they do this for tubs with bigger drain hubs? It’s all metal. You won’t be disappointed

Spruced up the old tub
UPDATE 11/1/2019 As others have noted, the drain "popup" seems to be missing something - it's wobbly in the up position, sits at an angle and doesn't want to stay open, if it's bumped it falls down. In the down position it can be turned to seal though I have yet to check if it seals well yet. Others have complained it doesn't seal but I bet they're not turning it to engage the threads that hold a seal. I ordered another thinking this was a defective item but it seems to be a design flaw as they are all this way. 10/26/2019 This old lady is thrilled to have found this without hitting every plumbing supply in the county and probably still coming up empty handed or spending multiples of the price from amazon. Worked great on the old 1957 tub. Drain was 1.5", plumber said it wouldn't fit so I removed the plastic bushing and installed it myself. RTFM, boyz! Included washer does NOT belong between the threaded drain piecel and the tub, but goes between the tub drain and the waste pipe underneath the tub. Use plumber's putty under the lip of the threaded drain piece. Instructions are not clear on this point and don't mention the proper location of this gasket/washer. Lift and Turn bath drain conversion kit
Someone has removed the lever drain mechanism is my two bathtubs making a bath virtually impossible. At the same time I developed a leak from one drain due to dry and cracked old plumbers putty that needed replacing. This kit took care of all my drain issues and was not difficult to install though you do need a proper drain removal tool to make the job go smoother. The directions could have been a little more clear, it made no reference to the rubber gasket/seal so I used fresh plumbers putty under the lip of the new drain, between it and the rubber seal.

The price
Just came in really handy I did not have a drain on the text side of my tub so I just took the plate put it in the back screw through it and Wallah it was. I love it also to stopper that keeps the water in a tub is good

Quality Kit for Updating Baths
Well made and easy to install - once you get old drain trim out. I strongly suggest buying a drain removal or plug wrench to assist with this task, though it can be accomplished by careful use of a screwdriver or other pointed tool. You will have an easier time, and get a tighter fit on the new drain, through use of the specialized tool. The drain trim, with the included adapter, fits drain sizes 1-1/2 in and 1-3/8 in, and is a great replacement for almost any drain. The overflow cover is a little small in this kit (by about 1/4 inch, thus, the 4 stars), though the adapter for one or two-hole cut-outs is helpful. I had to buy a larger overflow cover at HD to cover old cover's imprint on fiberglass tub enclosure.

Very good quality
The kit comes with no explanation on how to install, but it is very easy and intuitive. It works for both one and two screws overflow assemblies with no problem. The color is nice and the quality very good.

Good quality
I've only used the drain bit. It's well made but it's a bit small and it's almost impossible to center it over the drain hole while wrenching it down. Where's Arnold when you need him?

Dont buy
This is such bad quality. The finish is so thin and the pop up plug just wobbles loosely when open. Dont recommend.

Works great
Installed no problem, replacing the prior broken one. Still in good use several month later; a definite upgrade from an empty hole into the drain!
