Nice little styler but with one flaw

I purchased this one as it was 400 watt as opposed to my previous Conair at 300 watt. It's lighter weight for styling. However, the locking mechanism is different. It's a twist lock without a locking ring to hold it in place. If the brush really catches my hair (like I prefer so I can get a curl) the brush unlocks from the handle. Otherwise, I like the lighter weight and size of the two brushes.

Gentle air flow, doesn't get too hot

I was surprised that the air flow was so light, this is not a powerful tool. So if you want to protect your hair from hot temperatures and strong blow dryer like air flow, you will like this product. My hair is mid-neck length, medium fine, and straight (hard to curl)...this tool makes nice curls and dries my hair adequately when I gather reasonable chunks of hair.

Ease of use

Does a reasonably good job,doesn’t really get as hot as I like, and the bristles on the smaller attachment are pretty sharp on my skin. Other than that it works just fine

Weak hot hair brush

This hot air brush is very basic with a weak air flow and a single heat temp. My hair is very fine and this brush barely can dry my hair. This would not work for anyone with medium to thick hair.

Weak dryer

Poorly placed on/off switch results in dryer accidentally being turned off. Barely any air. The brush piece is good, just does not stay attached. Goodwill donation!

Low power but right size.

The round brush is small enough for my shorter, fine, straight and thick hair. However, the dryer needs to be more powerful to dry and style. I'm keeping it because I found a solution :) I plug in my high powered hair dryer and the hot air styling brush. I use the air styling brush as an air styling brush as I dry my hair with the high powered hair dryer. This works fantastic and much better than just my hair dryer with a round brush. I tried it today and it really worked! Until they come up with a smaller brush with higher power, it still works well when using it with your hair dryer. I'm keeping it!

Love it!

My old one like this that I had for years stopped working and I had missed it so much. I have fairly short, fine, thin hair and the 3/4" barrel is perfect for just giving my hair enough curl to look fuller. 1" or larger doesn't work for me. Is great for making nice curls for longer hair too. I haven't tried the brush barrel that comes with it and is larger but might if I grow my hair longer. Hair drying power isn't too forceful, which I like, and it doesn't get too hot. I just need to use it for a few seconds on slightly damp hair and it's dry.

Not just sure if I am liking this curling brush.

The size of the wand is perfect for what I wanted but the power leaves a bit to be desired …it takes a long time to heat up and the force of the air is very low. There is only one level for heat, on or off. So I really have to try it more to make a decision if I am pleased with this purchase. It seems quite light weight for the price of it. I really do like the size of the roller brush…it is great for my shorter hair. Just seems slo-mo..????

Impotent. Don’t waste your money.

I have suuuuper thin hair, so it dries easily. I bought this curling dryer specifically bc it had such a small barrel so I might actually get curl in my hair. Yeah… no. The air dryer is so weak that even my thin mop has to be at least 90% dry to begin with before it will even work. And the heat function is more like warm breeze. You’re better off having a friend heavy breathe on you to get more heat. Save your money and time and stick with a regular blow drier and curling iron.

It does not blow hot.

I was really surprised at the lack of heat in this product. It only gets warm at best. I purchased it to replace a much older Conair product that recently stopped working. That one got hot - perhaps too hot at times - but this one obviously is not intended to dry hair. What I do like is the small diameter of the two attachments. I have short hair and most of the blow dryer brushes are way too big to work for me. This one is perfect on that score. Now if they could only crank the temperature up a few degrees, this would be a much more enthusiastic endorsement.

Great product.

There is gentle heat and low air flow, but I like that. My hair does not fly away as I curl it. With only one heat setting, which is very low, this works for short hair, but would take a long time to dry and curl long hair. Perfect product for short hair.
