Not what I was hoping for

Need thick socks for the shoes I have to wear at work. They require a safety shoes and none available seem to be comfortable. Add to that the fact that my shift is 11 hours and you understand why thick, soft socks are necessary. These socks are in fact thicker than the standard Haynes or Fruit of the Loom at the box stores. At least around the foot bed is thicker but not the center of the footbed. Why I can't fathom... Personally, I am an athletic sock fit kinda guy. When I have to wear dress socks I am uncomfortable as a person gets. That band squeezing around the middle of the foot is the worst feeling for me. That (hellish) feature wasn't listed in the description of these that I seen but damned if I don't feel it's presence every second while wearing these. Overall these socks are not the worst I have ever worn. They are, however, a waste of money for me since I loathe them. My 2 cents, maybe your experience will be better. Although I doubt it.

Great for steel toe shoes

My husband had me order more. Another brand was so thick that he couldn't get his foot into the shoes. These are just what he needed and wanted and he's a picky man. I try to watch out for quality socks for him because he has diabetes and I want him to protect his feet. These have done a fine job.

I did not know sock could be soft and durable simultaneously. I'm on my feet ten hours a day and these socks and other styles from Carhartt are perfect for comfort. I've only purchased one pack this year and no damage or loss of softness.

Not the Same Quality as My Previous Order!

I order this Brand Name - Carhartt - for quality of the product, heavier material, long lasting. Ordered 3 pair last week. What was received is at best, a "Knock-off" Lighter material, slightly different design, not as good a fit. Also - paid $21.99, price tag on pack read $12.99! If that is the USD price, the USD/CDN exchange rate has been severely inflated. Recommend you do not purchase this brand

Great quality

I use these when working on house renovations. I wear them with open toes slippers while doing a bathroom renovation. They hold up much better than regular socks from New Balance or Fila, which would start ripping after 2-3 8 hour shifts. These Carhartts haven't ripped at all after about 10 hours shifts. Very good quality, and comfy.

Super comfy

These were very comfortable. They were thick enough to cushion my feet but not make my boots feel tight. They wicked moisture well so my feet didn't feel sweaty. I don't know how long they'll last but so far, I'm happy with them.
