Works!!
I was a bit skeptical about this but purchased it anyways. My son had a school trip to Washington DC with a cast on, this item did the job. My son was able to use on his own and protect his cast from getting wet as he showered. I recommend it.????????????

Eight years later!
Bought this for my son's broken arm in 2014, used for six weeks. Now, eight years later, I'm using it after hand surgery. Has never leaked a drop. Worked great then, works great now!

Had to make a slight cut on each side to accommodate a Man's Arm
No guidance or suggested use on package or on-line. This was purchased at a drug store. Didn't have time to buy it on Amazon. The hole at the top for entrance was 2" diameter. There should be a listed circumference for smallest arm it would fit. Some kids have chunky arms, some are like sticks. Other products have adult and child size items. My husband's arm is almost 13" in circumference. No way fitting. I made about 1 inch cut on both sides of hole and carefully pulled it on. Lucky guess but probably should have cut smaller and tried it each time. Able to pull it over cast and up to his elbow. It was very tight at top - no tape used. He wears large size gloves. Plastic thumb was too short and fingers were way too long. He can't use his thumb anyway so next time we will not use plastic thumb. The edge of plastic where sealed is very small, maybe 1/8 inch. Wish company didn't seal and cut it so close, leave perhaps twice as much for edge. Plastic is a funny feeling - water sheds off it. After use there was steam, moisture of some sort inside hand area and near top. I don't see a puncture around hand. I have it open over 2 cans of wipes- stacked to open it up and dry before use tomorrow. Probably is just condensation, not all that much. If not dry tomorrow, will reach inside with facecloth to dry. Cast was dry. Personally I think SO MUCH better than a plastic bag with tape. Well worth the cost.

EZ was ok but too short for me
It was too short for me..i used it over a towel a couple of times but if it was longer with a cinch that would be better..

Works Just Fine!
I purchased this item after having hand surgery. It is simple and straightforward, and it works just fine. My cast is from mid-palm to about halfway up my forearm. The "sleeve" opening stretched enough to fit over the cast and up my arm. It fit tightly enough to keep out all water, and I will be able to re-use it. I was able to put it on with my right hand, and I am left-handed (the surgery was on my left hand).

Great Expectation dashed
I paid an outrageous price for this piece of plastic. There is no way that hole was stretching far enough to get my arm in this sleeve. I had to cut the top opening and then use a fairly strong rubber band for the seal and it worked fine. I gave it three stars because it is heavy weight enough to do the job, but for the price and the adjustment it is really only worth two stars.

Still working well
I purchased this at local Rite-Aid after a major injury to my thumb, and have been amazed at how well it works. It looked strange at first but the opening stretched enough to get my hand in, and it created a seal that kept my bandage dry. It has been six weeks, and it is still in great working condition
