Great Part

I received the part quickly and it was a genuine Briggs and Stratton part. It came with a new gas cap and sticker. It was a perfect fit on my near 20 year old log splitter.

Perfect fit

This item replaced my gas tank shroud on my thirty year old snapper mower. I discovered a gas leak and was concerned about how I would find a part for this old machine. With the help of the manufacturer on Amazon I gave them some part numbers off of the engine and sure enough it fit and easily went back together. The only problem I had was I couldn't use the old gas line, it was to short, so I had to replace it with a new hose that was a couple of inches longer. The quality is excellent and well worth the money. I highly recommend this part.

Proper fit and easy install.

Bought this to replace a 25 year old tank that developed a crack last season. As the description says, it doesn't have a fuel valve as my OEM tank had. The OEM valve leaked almost from day one when in the on position so I'm glad to eliminate that issue. Also, it doesn't have a pre-drilled hole for the primer. So I simply drilled a matching hole. The tank fits properly and is leak free. I even peeled the "5 HP / Electronic Ignition" sticker from the original fan cover and installed it on the new one. Other than the tank being black instead of the original Sears Craftsman red, it's a great match.

Perfect OE replacement tank. Worked great. $50 is steep but the engine is 30 yrs old and runs great so just pony up!

Es una refacción original que cumple con las especificaciones de la podadora

Repare mi podadora con 20 años de antigüedad al reemplazar el tanque que fugaba la gasolina en la parte interior. Mi podadora quedo lista para darme servicio por muchos años ya que el motor se encuentra en perfecto estado.

Bonjour, merci pour votre envoi, je suis super contente de pouvoir prolonger la vie de ma tondeuse en remplaçant le réservoir qui était percé, elle approche des 30 ans, si on compare l'original à celui que j'ai reçu sur ce dernier il manque le robinet d'arrêt. Je vais procéder à la remise en état la semaine prochaine. Bon week-end Pascal.
