Awesome !

This was a complete STEAL during a sale. I had been wanting a cast iron sauce pan for the longest and when this deal hit I could not believe it. It is large, durable and has a great conduction. The clean up is very simple also

Love to cook with it

The slow cooker died so decided to give this a try. Been very pleased with the results. Roasts and pulled pork turned out amazing. Fast to clean too. Just be aware of the temperature limitations, 300 degrees max.

Wonderful heavy pan.

Love my enameled cast iron! ❤️ Really holds the heat, long consistent heat. Great for roasts, ham, long cooking soups ham & beans, chili, big pot of spaghetti sauce, etc. The silicone slip on handles are great for this pot. (Sold separately on Amazon.) Best of all it is easy to clean. Even boiled over burnt mess, use a scrubby and dish soap. Comes right off. :) You can use this on stovetop or in the oven. Do NOT use in the microwave! DO NOT HEAT EMPTY. This will make the enamel flake and break off. DO smear a little cooking oil or olive oil on the exposed cast iron rim of the pot and lid. This "seasons" it and keeps it from rusting.

one of my favorite pots!!

This sauce has been great !!! it is a regular workhorse in my kitchen, and cant be beat for the price. It is cast iron, so it is quite heavy, but it heats wonderfully.

Almost perfect, but what's up with the bottom?

Oh man, this thing would be perfect if it has a consistently flat base. But there's a cutout with for a large amazon basics logo in relief. Did we need to obnoxiously brand it this way? I bought this for an induction range, and it works great in spite of this design choice, but it's somehow annoying as you an feel it wobble ever so slightly. On a gas range, it wouldn't be an issue. But... for under 30 bucks, I didn't expect perfection.

So glad I bought it

I really agonized over this purchase because of the reviews on Amazon’s Dutch oven. I’m so glad I went for it. The pot is huge and I’m able to made beautiful soups In it. I have used it probably 20 times in the first month. I’m still nervous it won’t last but it’s so useful now I don’t care. It’s well worth the money. I have also used it to cook other dishes which have turned out perfectly. Highly recommend

Not good for induction.

Bottom of pan is not flat. Edges and brand name on the bottom are raised. I’ve only used it once. I could not get a low simmer for a pot of beans with it. When I washed it I figured out what the problem was. I plan to try experimenting with higher heat settings but until then I guess I have to use the gas range. Other than that I love the pot it’s beautiful it’s heavy. The price could not be beat.

Enamel coming away after just over a month

Very disappointing that the enamel has started coming away just over a month after buying, and only used a handful of times. These kind of pans are supposed to last a lifetime. Even more frustrating is that there is no obvious way to contact amazon about the issue as I'm a few days past the 30 day return period. The pan itself is good for cooking, but this doesn't bode well for the durability.

Der AmazonBasic Bräter 7L ist deutlich besser

Ordentlicher grosser Bräter zum super Preis. Was bei meinem komplett fehlt sind die Wasserrillen auf der Deckel Innenseite. Also leider kein Herabtropfen auf das Gargut sondern Rückführung über die Topfwände. Wärmeaufnahme auch bei Induktion sehr gut. Ich habe einen anderen Deckelgriff gemacht und angebracht, damit dieser bei langen Garzeiten am Herd kalt bleibt. Ich lasse beispielsweise Schmorbraten immer am Herd, ganz ohne Backrohr. Leider ist dieser Bräter in vielen Punkten mit dem in Größe und Preis identen AmazonBasic Bräter absolut nicht gleichwertig. Der Basic hat Noppen am Deckel zur Tropfenrückführung, er ist sauberer verarbeitet, die Emaillie ist hochwertiger, und der Deckel schließt mit deutlich kleinerem Spaltmaß. Einzig in Design überzeugt dieser hier.

OK, pero AmazonBasics es mejor

Tengo tanto la cacerola AmazonBasics como la cacerola AmazonCommercial. Tengo que decir que la cazuela de AmazonBasics es más barata y está mejor hecha con el mismo volumen. Además, a diferencia de ésta, la cacerola AmazonBasics tiene una tapa de picotas (es decir, con pomos) para que la condensación gotee de forma más uniforme. Por lo tanto, la decepción es grande. ¿Por qué pago más por menos calidad? ¿No debería ser AmazonCommercial la versión profesional? La sartén todavía se puede utilizar. También es un poco más ancha de diámetro (pero un poco más plana), lo que es bueno si necesita un poco más de superficie para freír, dependiendo del plato. Sin embargo, yo seguiría recomendando la olla AmazonBasics.

Gute Wahl für beschichtetes Gusseisen!

Ich koche gerne mit Gusseisen! Emaileiert hat natürlich Vorteile . Das sollte bekannt sein. Natürlich ist es kein Le Cr......, aber sicher ein guter Kauf! Ich für meinen Teil, bin hoch zufrieden! Die Hitzeverteilung, auf Gas, ist sehr gut. Konnte noch nichts negatives Feststellen!
