I danced in these last night. I have been away from dance for several months due to an injury. Prior to last night, I either danced in bare feet or ballet slippers. My podiatrist told me to start wearing shoes that have a small heel in order to raise my arch. So I was nervous wearing these sheos on account of the tiny heel. I wore them and I don't know if it was my imagination but I actually felt more stable in them than ballet slippers or bare feet. It didn't even feel like I had anything on my feet. I felt so secure in these shoes that I think my turns and landings were stronger and more solid than before. I am thrilled with these shoes and am considering getting another in a different color.

These are a great alternative to character shoes if you can't wear heels
I had surgery on my feet a few years ago, and unfortunately, I am no longer able to wear heels. I needed an alternative to character shoes, and I found these. Prior to my surgery, I wore 6.5 in Bloch shoes; however, they fit really snugly. I wore a 6.5 narrow in street shoes. Now I wear a 7 regular in street shoes, and I need more room in the toe, so I ordered a 7.5 for these. They actually fit snugly- but not uncomfortably- on my toes. However, the toe boxes are quite wide. This is fine, because my feet do swell sometimes, but I feel like the proportions are meant for people with wider feet and lower arches (mine are quite high).

Love these "teaching" shoes!
I am a dance instructor and needed new ballet shoes but wanted something with a little more heel support. These shoes are comfortable and I love the elastosplit so you still get a pretty arch. I wear them to teach both ballet and jazz classes. I usually wear a street shoe size 6.5 and I ordered a size 7 in these and they fit great!

BEST Grecian Sandal Made
Out of all the Grecian Sandals that I have tried, including Capezio and Theatricals, these are the most comfortable. I am dancing and have R.A.. It is very hard for me to find a comfortable shoe to walk in, much less dance. The Blochs are the best. Even in places here my toes touch the shoe, the leather is so soft that it doesn't hurt!

These are classy, beautiful and comfortable. If your feet are wide, order one half size up. Otherwise, these are pretty fantastic.

Very small and way too tight over instep
Had to return as way too small. Also, order with caution if you have an even slightly high instep as the elastic on these is terribly tight and really cuts into the ankle. Have ordered one size up. Will revise review if any better.

these are so great, I was warned that it was a little tight at the T part in the front and to size up. I normally wear a street size 7 - 7.5, and got the size 7 because it's snug and I was told the leather will stretch a bit. They fit perfectly on me. P.S. to bloch - really wish they could continue selling the pink ones
