Good escape to the tropics

This was a fun puzzle with beautiful colors and pieces that fit together well. I enjoyed that it was challenging but not too difficult. All pieces were included. Highly recommend, especially for the cost.

A Peaceful and Lovely Scene!

Buffalo Games is one of my favorite puzzle manufacturers. Due to environmental concerns, puzzle boxes are glued, and pieces are loose, not in a plastic bag. I own many Buffalo Games puzzles, and none of them have missing pieces. It is a reliable manufacturer for those who have concerns about missing pieces. This puzzle scene was created by artist Kim Norlien. In the past, it was available only in 1000 pieces, which I considered would be more challenging. To my great delight, the 500 piece Summertime puzzle was the perfect size for me. I love the scene, and can imagine sitting on the beach watching the sunset and pretty waves washing ashore a few feet away. I felt a sense of peace and calm, as though I'd visited the ocean in my mind. The pieces are well-made, sturdy and fit nicely together. The scene is well-balanced with a nice ratio of sand, water, sky and trees. The ocean and trees were at times challenging. I highly recommend this puzzle for those who are looking for a quality summertime puzzle.

Some puzzle pieces fit where they don’t go

There were several puzzle pieces that would fit in the wrong place. The coloration on the piece wasn’t different enough to be obvious. Other than that it was ok.

Missing a piece

I bought this as part of my husband’s Christmas gift. We just finished putting it together and it is missing a piece. I’m glad it was a gift for my husband rather than a grandchild.
