The mount is good BUT
They supplied it with two u-bolts that don't fit the bumper or the plate itself. Need to make a trip to the hardware store to get it installed. Ridiculous oversight on such a simple thing.

Good quality mount, with issues
I bought the Extreme Max winch mount for my 2007 Honda Rancher 420. According to the install sheet, this is the one for my machine. Initial thought was that it is a good quality mount plate with terrible hardware and even worse installation instructions. The hardware had 4 U-bolts, 4 mount bolts and an odd number of flat and lock washers and lock nuts. Fortunately there was enough lock nuts to install on the U-bolts, several washers were left over that didn't fit any of the bolts, must have been packed on a Friday. The Instructions are just horrible. If your not mechanically inclined, have experience doing this type of work you might have some difficulty understanding what to do. The instructions give you a decent process to follow as far as disassembly, but to install the winch, it says "Install winch", that's it, no other guidance. There's one picture that shows you have to trim the bumper plastic along the side to get it to fit around the winch motor.......Uh no. Try you have to trim the bumper plastic in 4 different places, the bumper frame in two different places, AND you have to put a small spacer behind the fairlead to keep it from hitting the plastic on the bumper, or more trimming. With that said, once everything is trimmed and in place, its a sturdy mount that isn't going anywhere. If Extreme Max could put better quality hardware and better instructions it would make a good product a lot better.

Hardware issues
The u bolt hardware sent with this kit did not even fit the pre drilled holes in the mounting plate. I should not have had to go buy new ubolts because the hardware with this kit was wrong

Mounting hole not right
The plate fit the four wheeler but the mounting holes didn’t fit the winch.

Worked Great
I needed this mount to install a Badlands 2500 Winch on my 2013 Honda Rancher. It worked great but I did have to drill some holes to install the fair lead that came with my winch. The predrilled holes did not line up. I would still highlly recommend this mounting bracket.

Fits 4x4 rancher
Described as 2x4 mount. This fit my 2011 rancher 4x4 perfectly. All hardware is included. Mounted a super winch terra 3500. Winch had to be turned around so that the cable feeds from the top straight through the fairlead hole. Other winches may be spooled differently. Took 2.5 hours total install as the whole front bumper gets removed for install.

U-bolts supplied with plate don't fit around bumper very well...
Plate fits okay but mounting u-bolts don't fit around factory bumper very well. Also doesn't allow the fairlead to sit flush to the bumper.
