Great quality heavy-duty pack!

Good quality. I needed a back pack that could hold a 17" laptop and this pack holds that and a ton more. If you like a lot of pockets for organization this isn't the one but this would make a great SHTF buyout bag!

many civilian backpacks have better zippers than this

I prefer function over form. This backpack is mostly just form. Zippers are cheap, many civilian backpacks have better zippers than this. Material is lighter than other tactical backpacks, but tougher than many regular backpack Update 05.16.16 Already falling apart at the seams. Wasted money

Great bag, mediocre manufacturer customer service.

I bought this thru a non amazon vendor, but I thought it important to warn potential buyers of this bag. I got the black, and it is seriously sturdy and well made for a low buck tactical bag. The problem is that some of the zippers DID NOT HAVE PULLS. That's right, the thing you grab in order to actually use the zipper was, somehow absent. This thing has a lot of zippered compartments. Being as I got a pretty good deal, I chose to basically keep it, but contact customer service for Barska products ( including the Loaded Gear brand). After sending a brief, yet thorough explanation to customer support, I got a dialog box stating that I would have a response in 12-24 hours. About 45 hours later, I recieved my response: I'm sorry, we do not have that part. Sorry for the inconvenience, have a nice day. My guess is they ran out, therefore no longer putting fobs on the zippers as they are assembled (sarchasm here). I have chosen to continue use of this bag, while happilly telling everyone I see, why I have chrome keyrings on some zippers, and black paracord on others. I hope this helps.

Great backpack

An OK day pack, but not a great tactical bag.

Waist belt fell off first time I tried it on and tightened it: there is no way to secure it. This renders the purpose of a belt - to distribute weight from your shoulders pretty much mute. The pack is also small - I am 6', and the waist belt actually comes across low chest, not my waist. The inner room is ok and the actual material, while stiff, seems sturdy. MOLLE strips are solid and well placed. So, if you want a regular day pack and can do without a waist belt, this is not a bad pick. But it's not a good substitute for a tactical bag.
