No More Paul Mitchell
Tried this out as I was getting tired of Paul Mitchell's ridiculous prices. I did my research which came to down to four brands that were all considered comparable to Paul Mitchell. I chose this one based on my research and have been happy with it so far.

Irritated Skin
I try to buy clean products for our family. My two teen girls have oily hair, and when I found this product, I figured it should work great. However, within the first three times of using it, one of my daughters ears became inflamed and started to peel. My other daughter began having a rash on her neck and back. I had them stop using the shampoo and conditioner all together and within a couple days it cleared up. I ended up having to throw this away as they irritated my girls skin. While it did do a good job controlling the oily hair, it has 2 major skin irritants in it so I wouldn’t recommend this.

Avalon organics fan
I'm a fan of this line and use the shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner is not your typical conditioner that leaves so much gunk on your scalp that builds up and makes your scalp an itchy mess. Could it be more moisturizing? Sure. But with that comes added ingredients that will not do your scalp any favor. I like this tea tree combo and use it regularly. It smells great, keeps my scalp clean and free of build up.

Together with the shampoo my scalp no longer itches!
This conditioner is wonderful! It leaves my hair soft and manageable and my brush just glides through my hair. My scalp and hair are moisturized without being greasy. My scalp was horribly dry and itchy. The dermatologist gave me this awful oil I had to put on my scalp twice a day. It didn't help at all and going around with oily hair was not fun!! I bought the Avalon Organics shampoo and conditioner and my problem is gone! I felt the difference with the first use! It is worth every penny!

Smell
The smell of the conditioner is not so good. Not the same smell as the shampoo. Conditioner smell gives me a headache all day. Not sure what smell it is but it is no good.

Finally a product that works!
I have a very dry and itchy scalp. I have tried many products to solve this problem and the Avalon Organics Conditioner, when used with it's shampoo, has been very good at keeping my scalp moisturized and itch free, when I use them at least 2-3 times a week.

Smells like something from my garage.
Purchased this because the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Conditioner is now prohibitively expensive for some reason. I guess the semiconductors they grind up to put in the conditioner are hard to manufacture these days. Anyway, I've used a lot of conditioner in my life, several different brands. All have the common trait of being thick/viscous with a consistency like pudding. This squirts out of the bottle like hand sanitizer. I'm not even sure it's conditioner, as it smells like degreaser or something that came from my garage. There is zero tea tree scent or even a cooling feel to it, like none at all. I would never buy this again and I wouldn't be surprised if this company was really a Chinese knock-off brand company that mixes paint with soap to make this conditioner. Terrible. Just absolutely terrible.

4C Afro Hair (TWA) Smooth My Sore Scalp Folliclitis.
Update November 2022, I’ve using this now for 5 months and my scalp has improved a LOT. The soreness has reduced a lot and redness gone. Please use the shampoo and conditioner together for the best results. I then use my scalp and hair lotion afterwards. I have 4C type Afro hair a small twa, and also I have folliculitis scalp acne. This conditioner really does the job. It does smell and look like white fresh toothpaste which is okay. There no tingling feeling on the scalp. Leave on for a feel minutes rinse off. My scalp is less irritated and redness is reduced. I use their tea tree shampoo to go with the conditioner as well. As for my hair is okay it moisturise but not deeply moisturise. I might try to apply heat for a deep condition soon as hair grows longer. But at the moment I am only concerned getting a healthy scalp to grow healthy hair. Much better than those medicated drying tar shampoo and conditioners. I will update later on.

Helps keep scalp dandruff away. Soothes all the itchiness, especially after using a medicated shampoo for the dandruff. Great stuff.
